President Barack Obama is so intent on closing the Guantanamo Bay detention camp before he leaves office that he’s now setting free terrorists who have promised to kill American citizens.
The Obama administration’s Monday release of a dangerous Saudi-born terrorist from the detention camp has outraged citizens after a leaked document revealed he plans to continue waging terror — including against America.
In a military dossier obtained by the New York Times, officials had determined that Muhammed Abd Al-Rahman Al-Shamrani “would immediately seek out prior associates and reengage in hostilities and extremist support activities at home and abroad.”
Al-Shamrani also threatened guard staff, tried to further radicalize other detainees, and “has indicated his intent to kill Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan if released,” the dossier stated.
Many security analysts have question the move by the Obama administration, saying Al-Shamrani’s release makes America less safe.
The terrorist, who authorities said was a recruiter and fighter for Al-Qaeda, has been sent back to his homeland amid a wave of releases from the detention center the Pentagon said Monday.
Al-Shamrani was among the first prisoners taken to the U.S. base in Cuba when it opened in January 2002 to hold suspected enemy combatants. He had long been deemed too dangerous to release even as most of the prisoners from Saudi Arabia were sent home.
A profile of Al-Shamrani first released by the Pentagon in 2014 said he “almost certainly remains committed to supporting extremist causes, and has continued to incite other detainees against the detention staff at Guantanamo.”
Al-Shamrani is the fourth of 17 prisoners expected to be released this month from Guantanamo. The prison now holds 103 men, including more than 40 cleared for release.

We’ll all have to just flood our Congressmen and Senators with demands for removal from office (impeachment and whatever steps that would go with that to actually achieve removal of a President) I have already done so several times but we need hundreds of thousands of demands. We can’t get bogged down over whether Cruz can or cannot run, he isn’t the problem. But Congress said in the past that impeachment isn’t on the table. Only a flood of mail to our Congressmen/Congresswomen and Senators can put it back on the table.
