Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif. and the Senate Judiciary Democrats have a request — Attorney General William Barr should recuse himself from Ukraine affairs and the origins of the Russia probe.
They don’t want Barr investigating Democrats’ actions during the 2016 election.
Critics say the letter is proof that Democrats are increasingly nervous.
Liberals seem hell-bent on shutting down the Justice Department investigation as fast as they can.
Is it because they’re scared about what Barr will uncover?
“Senate Judiciary Committee Democrats have called on Attorney General William Barr to recuse himself from matters related to Ukraine,” Feinstein wrote on Twitter, “because of concerns about his role in President Trump’s efforts to damage a political opponent and undermine the Russia investigation.”

Democrats allege that Barr is compromised by President Donald Trump.
It’s the narrative they’ve created.
But behind Capitol Hill walls and away from the media cameras, liberals are worried.
Former special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia pretend treasure hunt was a “nothing burger” that uncovered insufficient evidence of wrongdoing to charge anyone with a crime.
But Barr’s investigation into the Deep State corruption under the Obama investigation is a much different story.
The turning point came when last week U.S. Attorney John Durham declared that the probe into the origins of the Russian investigation was now a criminal investigation, according to NPR sources.
Now, suddenly the Democrats are demanding Barr — who tapped Durham to lead the investigation — should recuse himself.
Funny timing…
It suggests that the Justice Department’s investigation report may very close to being released. The probe is under review as we speak, and Barr and company are likely compiling a list of those complicit in the Deep State corruption.
Whether it is former spy chief James Clapper, former director of CIA John Brennan, or even Obama…
The shift to a criminal investigation likely means a black eye for Democratic leadership.
And, based on Barr’s response to charges that he’s become compromised, it’s unlikely he’s intimidated by Feinstein.
“That’s completely wrong and there is no basis for it, and I act on behalf of the United States,” Barr told Fox News in response to Feinstein’s allegation.
