Rep. Ted Cruz, R-T.X., is typically known around Capitol Hill as a conservative congressman with a sharp wit.
And he’s officially feuding with television star Oprah.
Recently, Oprah Winfrey was already mired in her own controversy.
It began with Winfrey and her latest show, “The Oprah Conversation,” when she made controversial comments on race relations in America.
She encouraged her guests to admit their racism.
Despite being one of the richest women in the entire world, she told her host contributors “[Whites have a] leg up … You still have your whiteness. That’s what the term ‘white privilege’ is. It means that whiteness still gives you an advantage, no matter. It is the fundamental issue.”
Cruz wasn’t having any of it.
“Billionaire Oprah lectures the rest of us,” he wrote on Twitter.

“What utter, racist BS,” he added.
But he wasn’t the only one who blasted Oprah for her comments on the segment.
Prominent conservatives across America, both Black and white, slammed Winfrey for what they suggested were divisive comments.
David Harris Jr., notable President Donald Trump supporter, featured an essay on his website calling segment “sickening,” and one that reflects the growing base of liberals “trying to divide us by race, color, religion, and economic class.”
Kimberly Klacik, a U.S. House candidate out of Baltimore, Maryland, accused Winfrey of profiting from a “manufactured racial divide.”
Oprah Winfrey trying to profit off of a manufactured racial divide while being a billionaire when so many people are facing eviction is the sort of nonsense #CancelCulture should attack.

Well-known commentator and outspoken conservative Wayne Dupree accused Winfrey of “shaming” white people.
Winfrey has yet to respond.
