Adult film star Stormy Daniels hasn’t had the effect on President Donald Trump that CNN and the mainstream media hoped she would.
Despite wall-to-wall coverage by the liberal media, the porn star’s questionable allegations about her relationship with Trump have fallen flat with the people that matter: American voters.
Turns out, many Americans don’t believe her.
Those that do believe her don’t care enough to let it sway their opinion on letting the president do his job.
Overall, Trump’s approval ratings have remained largely unchanged despite the all-out attack by the liberal media.
Even liberal pollsters say that Stormy Daniels’ mania has impacted Trump’s approval ratings by a meager one point from last month. Among women voters, the president’s standing did slip slightly. However, approval among male voters was enough to make up most the lost ground. A new Harvard CAP/Harris Poll shows Trump’s approval dipped slightly from 45 percent to 44 percent following the “60 Minutes” special.
Conservative critics say it’s better than that and generally rely on Rasmussen Reports — one of the few polling agencies that accurately predicted the results of the 2016 presidential election. Their data is even more stunning.
According to Rasmussen, Trump’s approval climbed to 51 percent on Wednesday. Compare that to former President Barack Obama’s approval rating of 46 percent on that same day, and the facts are clear.
American voters don’t care about Stormy Daniels — and they no longer trusts the mainstream media.
