Former Vice President Joe Biden should be focused on the 2020 presidential campaign — but his attention has suddenly been stolen by a “love child” lawsuit.
Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, is being sued by an Arkansas woman to establish paternity and demand child support for “Baby Doe,” born in August 2018.
According to The New York Post, Lunden Roberts asked the court of Independence County, Arkansas to legally establish that Hunter is the child’s biological father on May 28.
Hunter recently married another woman, who is 17 years younger than him, in May.
Roberts “is also seeking child support and for him to provide health insurance for the now-10-month-old infant,” The New York Post reports. “All out-of-pocket expenses would be split between the two parents, the filing said.”
This isn’t the first sex scandal involving Hunter Biden, of course. He has an illicit history of prostitution, out-of-wedlock affairs, and drug use.
He was discharged from the Navy in 2014 for cocaine use.
In 2015 he was listed as a customer of Ashley Madison, the pro-adultery website, when it’s customer base was hacked.
During this divorce in 2017, his wife accused him of spending money on illegal drugs and prostitutes.
“Throughout the parties’ separation, Mr. Biden has created financial concerns for the family by spending extravagantly on his own interests (including drugs, alcohol, prostitutes, strip clubs, and gifts for women with whom he has sexual relations) while leaving the family with no funds to pay legitimate bills,” Hunter’s ex-wife’s lawyer wrote in the divorce filings.
Critics have even accused Hunter of corruption for his work as a board member of a foreign energy company during former President Barack Obama’s administration.
As far back as 2009, Hunter teamed up with former Secretary of State John Kerry’s stepson, Christopher Heinz, to allegedly leverage their family connections to make billions for their “shady private equity firm.”
He has flatly denied any wrongdoing in his past business dealings.
But one thing is undeniable: Hunter’s messy personal life is becoming an increasing burden on his father’s 2020 presidential campaign.
Joe Biden’s presidential campaign has yet to publicly comment on the scandal.
