A High School in Hurricane City, located in Southwest Utah, woke up to find their American flag destroyed and replaced on Thursday.
An unknown perpetrator had taken down the U.S. flag and replaced it with an ISIS flag.
The perpetrator also left a chilling message for the school… “ISIS is comi.”
The high school reported on Thursday that the American flag was shredded at the scene. The flag was replaced with “what looked like a flag used by ISIS,” police said.
The message spray painted on the side of the building appears to be missing some letters. Could the perpetrator meant to have said, “ISIS is COMING”?
The Hurricane Police Department is still unaware as to whether the perpetrator was a student of someone from outside the community.
They put an alert out on Facebook asking anyone who has some information to give them a call —

“Officers have received tips this morning and they’re following those leads and so far they haven’t generated a credible lead but tips can help us out a lot,” he said.
The school has resumed classes and do not believe that there is any threat to the children’s safety at this time.
Following hours of investigation, authorities replaced the ISIS flag with a new American flag, they have also removed the graffiti. The FBI has been contacted and images were sent for analysis.
“[B]ased on information we received from the FBI we do not believe this act was perpetrated by someone linked to the Islamic State,” Hurricane PD said in a statement. “This investigation is ongoing and investigators will continue to follow-up on leads.”
