A former Democratic presidential candidate, and one of the top critics of President Donald Trump’s alleged “collusion” with Russia, has been caught “red”-handed cavorting with a Chinese Communist spy, according to a blockbuster new report.
The left-wing website Axios reveals that Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., had a long professional, political, and personal relationship with a Chinese intelligence asset—exactly the kind of “compromising” situation he accused the Trump family of having with the KGB.

The Chinese spy picked the future congressman out as a rising star when he was just a city council member, raised money for him, and even put her own people in his office once he won a seat on the House Intelligence Committee.
It’s a major story of America’s most sensitive secrets being compromised by its greatest global adversary—and unlike the Russian story, there’s solid evidence of Swalwell’s flirting with danger.
The spy was an attractive Chinese woman who went by the name “Christine Fang,” although her real name is thought to be Fang Fang. She posed as a college student, enrolling in California State University, East Bay in 2011 but left her studies behind to attend every political fundraiser in the San Francisco Bay area. Officials confirm Fang met with as many as five congressmen and had a sexual relationship with at least two mayors of Midwestern towns…one because he was teaching her English.
Sometime in 2012, Fang’s path crossed Swalwell’s. At the time, the now 40-year-old congressman was a small-time member of the Dublin City Council, but Fang—and her Chinese minders—wanted to make sure he became much more powerful.
Fang became a “bundler” for the Democrat—a fundraiser who collects donations from many people and bundles them together into one large amount. Bundlers use their financial leverage to lobby elected officials for a certain cause…whatever cause may have been close to Fang’s heart.

Swalwell was elected to Congress in 2012, and Fang helped him raise money for his reelection in 2014.
The Chinese Communist Party spy also placed at least one intern in Swalwell’s office. Swalwell, who ran for president in the 2020 Democratic primaries, has access to the highest levels of classified information as a member of the House Intelligence Committee.
But the congressman—who was divorced at the time and had not yet married his second wife—refuses to say whether he and Fang had sex, claiming that answering that question would reveal “classified” information.
If the two had no sexual relationship, there would be no “classified” information to reveal.
The government gave Swalwell a “defensive briefing” about Fang, and he says he cut ties with her before she disappeared in 2015—but his father and brother remain Facebook friends with her.

Ironically, just a year later, Swalwell would lead the charge against President Trump and his family for alleged collusion with Russian agents—which a muti-year investigation disproved. He even raised the possibility of a Russian “honey trap” during a hearing with former FBI Director James Comey.
Now that Axios has brought his own scandal to the light of day, Swalwell is spitting mad—at Donald Trump.
“I hope it is investigated into who leaked this information,” Swalwell said, although the Axios story did not mention any information being “leaked”; it said it gathered all the information during a year-long investigation.
“At the same time this story was being leaked out is the time that I was working on impeachment on the House Intelligence and Judiciary Committees” he said. “And if this is a country where people who criticize the president are going to have law enforcement information weaponized against them, that’s not a country that any of us want to live in.”
But a country with people like Eric Swalwell in charge is exactly the kind of country the Chinese leadership wants to live in.

One Chinese academic named Di Dongsheng let the cat out of the bag. “We have people at the top. We have our old friends who are at the top of America’s core inner circle of power and influence,” he told an audience in China, although the video has since leaked out.
He said the Trump administration had been impossible to crack, but “now we’re seeing Biden was elected,” he expected the administration will be run by “the traditional elite, the political elite, the establishment” who are “very close to Wall Street”…and deeply infiltrated by the Chinese Communist Party.
