Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has a warning for President Donald Trump: It’s time to improve your diet, Mr. President!
Trump has the worst diet of anyone in his administration, RFK, Jr. admitted in a recent interview. Kennedy said he doesn’t understand how the 79-year-old president is still so healthy.
Kennedy made the candid remarks Tuesday on “The Katie Miller Podcast,” hosted by Katie Miller, the wife of White House deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller.
When Miller asked Kennedy who in the administration has the “most unhinged eating habits,” Kennedy replied without hesitation: “The president.”
“The interesting thing about the president is that he eats really bad food, which is McDonald’s, and, you know, candy and Diet Coke,” Kennedy said. “He drinks the Diet Coke at all times.”
Despite the poor diet, Kennedy praised Trump’s remarkable constitution.
“He has the constitution of a deity. I don’t know how he’s alive, but he is,” Kennedy said.
Kennedy said that Trump’s unhealthy eating happens when the president is on the road, as part of his demanding schedule as the commander-in-chief.
“When he’s at Mar-a-Lago, or he’s at the White House, he’s eating really good food,” Kennedy said. “I think if you travel with him, you just get this idea that he’s just pumping himself full of poison all day long, and you don’t know how he’s walking around, much less being the most energetic person.”
Kennedy said the reason may be found in Dr. Mehmet Oz’s assessment of Trump’s medical records, which point to the president’s exceptional testosterone levels.
“He has incredible health,” Kennedy said. “Dr. [Mehmet] Oz looked at his medical records, he said that he has the highest testosterone levels he has ever seen for an individual over 70.”
“I know the president will be happy that I repeated that,” Kennedy added.
Trump’s love of fast food, particularly McDonald’s, has been well documented throughout his political career. The president famously worked a shift at McDonald’s during the 2024 campaign. Trump has previously said he likes eating fast food because he is concerned about getting poisoned.
When asked about the healthiest eater in the administration, Kennedy named Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth.
Kennedy also opened up about his own dieta, and admitted his method for choosing supplements is not particularly scientific.
“My method is I read an article about something, you know, and I get convinced that, oh, I gotta have this stuff,” Kennedy said. “And then I get it and then six months later I’m still taking it. I don’t remember what the article said.”
Kennedy said he takes Vitamin D, quercetin, zinc, magnesium, Vitamin C “and a bunch of other stuff” for his health.
