*** Political double-talk (Code Speak): “Common Sense Gun Laws” translates as ‘I have no actual facts to support my case but I’m going to push my [political] agenda anyway.
*** With (now) MORE THAN 35,000 GUN LAWS(!) on the books in America, the 2nd Amendment stands as one of *THE* MOST OVER-REGULATED AMENDMENTS in the Bill of RIghts!! So – question is “When are we going to start ELIMINATING the hundreds and hundreds of ‘USELESS’ GUN LAWS on the books that courts cannot enforce NOW?!!!”

Given how much we splice and dice words to wrangle meaning our way, one should know that “olde Englishe” hasn’t been spoken on over 1,000 years (unless you’re studying it). “Modern” English is considered to have begun with the Bard.
