It seems even Pope Francis has his temptations, it seems.
The pontiff is making headlines worldwide after he appeared to “like” an Instagram social media photo of a bikini model dressed in a racy schoolgirl outfit.
Social media users buzzed about the incident.
27-year-old model Natalia Garibotto is claiming that the Pope’s verified account liked the picture of her, which featured the model in a white tank top and a short skirt.
A very short skirt.
Now, the Vatican is getting involved.
Sources disclosed to the Catholic News Agency (CNA) that efforts are underway to get to the bottom of what happened. Multiple news sources have reported that the papal Instagram account, named Franciscus, is managed by a team.
In other words, it’s unclear whether the Pope himself “liked” the photo, or if it was one of the team employees.
But that’s not all.
The post was reportedly noticed November 13, but by November 14, the evidence of the papal “like” had vanished.
Garibotto, a model who according to her website sends her subscribers “sexy content” and “signed Polaroids,” has since celebrated the papal incident.
“… I’m going to the Vatican,” she joked on Twitter.
“At least I’m going to heaven.”
