Outrage! Police officer executed by crazed killer

The bloody criminal war on cops claimed another innocent victim Sunday morning, this time a sheriff’s deputy in California.

The wanted killer suspected of shooting this sheriff’s deputy in “an execution” in Central California was arrested hours later after an alleged crime rampage across more than 100 miles, authorities said.

Stanislaus County Sheriff’s Deputy Dennis Wallace was shot twice in the head as he checked on a report of a suspicious van parked near a fishing access spot outside the city of Hughson, about 10 miles southeast of Modesto, Sheriff Adam Christianson said.

“We believe that Deputy Wallace was killed outside of the car, and we know for a fact that the gun used in this crime was in direct contact with his head when the trigger was pulled twice,” Christianson told a news conference. “This was an execution.”

Wallace was alone when he came across the van Sunday morning. A dispatcher told him the vehicle was stolen, so he asked for backup. Another deputy found Wallace a short time later.

The suspect, identified as David Machado, 36, fled in the van and carjacked a white Kia sedan in the nearby city of Keyes, police said.

While on the run, Machado committed an armed robbery in the town of Lindsay, about 150 miles south of where the shooting occurred, Christianson said. Then, shortly after noon, he tried to steal a woman’s purse at a convenience store.

The woman fought Machado and called police. He ran from the scene, but he was caught by officers a short time later.

The Lindsay police officers didn’t recognize Machado as the suspect in Wallace’s killing until after he was taken into custody, when they identified him through tattoos and a photograph issued by Stanislaus County.

Christianson said Machado was wanted for a felony warrant at the time of the traffic stop. He did not elaborate on the alleged crime.

He said authorities have recovered the van and the Kia sedan as evidence in the investigation.

Wallace, 53, is survived by his wife, Mercedes, and children. He was a 20-year department veteran who lived and worked in Hughson, where he was involved in youth soccer, refereed football games and taught schoolchildren how to avoid drugs and violence in the D.A.R.E. program.

“He wasn’t just assigned to Hughson; he’s a fixture in Hughson. He was so well-loved,” county Supervisor Vito Chiesa told the Modesto Bee.

Hundreds of people, including law enforcement officers, gathered at the park near where Wallace was shot by nightfall to mourn his death.

His brother, Modesto police Officer David Wallace, said all he Dennis wanted to do was follow in their father’s law enforcement footsteps.

“Dennis died doing what he loved,” he said.

Wallace is the fifth law enforcement officer in California to die in the line of duty in the last five weeks. The slaying comes after a deputy in Modoc County was killed while responding to a call about a disturbance, two Palm Springs police officers were shot to death during a domestic disturbance call, and a Los Angeles County sheriff’s sergeant was shot and killed in the high-desert town of Lancaster while answering a burglary call.

“This tragedy is yet another solemn reminder of the sacrifice men and women in law enforcement make each and every day when they put on the uniform and badge, not knowing if they’ll come home to their families at the end of their shift,” Attorney General Kamala Harris said about Wallace’s killing.

Machado is certainly a Latin name.

I also wondered if this is another import so loved by the liberals, or a descendant of one.

Anyone, and I mean anyone who murders a Police Officer should be tried immediately and if convicted should be executed by a firing squad within 12 hours of the guilty verdict. I would gladly donate my time, weapon and ammunition for this purpose!

He should be shot execution style like he did to the police officer! What’s disgusting is that he will probably end up in jail for life, living free and easy on our tax dollars that we work so hard for.

Firing squad is too quick and painless. I recommend slow hanging by lifting up the murderer by the neck until he stops breathing. No quick drop break the spinal cord hanging that is over instantly. Make the SOB suffer a slow merciless choking death before he goes to Hell!

A convicted killer who kills ANYONE should be put to death. In a public setting.

    • Jeanette says

      November 14, 2016 at 2:07 pm

      I agree!

I certainly support our law enforcement officers and think that they should be able to do whatever saves their own lives in these situations, without persecution.

However, imposing quicker and/or sterner punishment to killers who kill victims in a particular group places a higher value on the lives of the members of that group.

We saw something similar in England before America was founded. Someone killing a royal or an aristocrat received quicker and sterner punishment, because the royals and aristocrats were more considered more valuable than mere commoners. So, part of the reason for the founding of America was to change that caste system of more versus less valuable human beings.

If we place more value on lives of one group of Americans (law enforcement), that will soon apply to other groups, too, such as billionaires and politicians. It already does to some degree, but it would become as blatant as it once was in England if members of law enforcement were legally and openly given “more valuable human being” status.

We can’t afford to go there, so we must make the punishment for murder quick and severe for all of the killers of ANYONE.

      • Ellie says

        November 14, 2016 at 7:26 pm

Best reply so far. I agree. The person must be found guilty ”beyond a reasonable doubt”, or actually seen committing a murder. There are people wrongfully convicted today who are barely being ”saved by the bell” by irrefutable evidence proving their innocence.

Firing squad immediately. Maybe teach others a lesson, that if they shoot, we will shoot them.
No more taking space up in a jail and then get all the freebies. Cut the people off that are getting free
everything even cell phones. They might all go back to wherever they came from If they want to fight
    us, we will oblige.

Maybe now that we have a President who doesn’t insult the police or tie their hands and let’s them do their job we will have a lot less of this. I grew up in New York and they have the death penalty for killing a police officer. Yeah, fat chance of that ever happening. What a joke. Rest in peace, Officer Wallace.

Mr. Machado should face execution by a firing squad if he is found guilty of this horrible crime. It’s time to execute murderers in the same manner they used on their victims.

These outrageous killings are happening every day and these low life cowards should get the death penalty.
I thought this was decided years ago but they continue to gun down our Police Officer’s and get a light sentence from some of these weak judges.

Until the laws change to get these murders off the street, these killings will continue to happen.

This is what can happen, when police men became to be violent against the innocent American People.
How many American innocent People has been killed by American Policemen for the last 15 years?
there were many thousands innocent people who were killed by Police psychopaths.
But everybody has forgotten this people who police killed without any reason.
Police should know that there are more people that can become potential killer .
I am against violence, but the both sides should stop killing.
The American Police is responsible for killing their members.

Is shocking that California A.G. Kamala Harris didn’t file a charge against deceased Deputy Wallace for contacting the Van Driver & Profiling Him. She’s as complicit for attacks on Law Enforcement as Her buddies Loretta Lynch & Barack Obama are.
