Imagine, if you will, the mainstream media frenzy that would occur if an angry conservative screamed in the face of President Barack Obama’s daughter?
That’s what happened Thursday — except it was President-elect Donald Trump’s daughter, Ivanka, and his grandchildren being verbally attacked by an out-of-control liberal college professor on an airplane.
And for some reason, the media thinks this scary incident is funny!?
New York resident Dan Goldstein, a lawyer, allegedly “starting shaking” with anger when he and his husband, Matthew Lasner, saw Ivanka Trump and her family were on the same JetBlue flight as them. Lasner “did a double take and said ‘Oh my God. This is a nightmare!’” before confronting the family, another passenger on the flight, Marc Scheff, told The Huffington Post.
Then, while Lasner gleefully posted that his husband was “chasing” the first daughter-elects family down “to harass them” on Twitter, Goldstein — holding his own daughter — began screaming in Ivanka’s face.
“Your father is ruining the country!” Goldstein shouted at Ivanka in front of her young children. “Why is she allowed on our flight? She should be flying private!”
The vicious attack was so aggressive, the men were quickly forced off the flight for their inappropriate behavior by airline staff. According to TMZ, Goldstein was then heard screaming at staff, “You’re kicking me off for expressing my opinion?!” and “They ruin our country, now they ruin our flight!””
According to eyewitness reports, Ivanka kept her cool during the incident. US Weekly reported, “Ivanka — who was sitting in coach with several family members — ignored the man and attempted to distract her and husband Jared Kushner’s three children, Arabella, 5, Joseph, 3, and Theordore, 8 months, with crayons.”
Lasner, a professor at New York’s Hunter College, has since deleted his Twitter account and has refused to answer questions about his husband’s behavior.
JetBlue cited the possibility of “the risk of escalation during flight” in explaining the decision to remove the men. The airline says the men was rebooked for the next available flight.
“To do that to a woman who was on there with her children, I don’t care what your political background is or what your thoughts are, that’s not the way we as Americans need to act,” Trump spokesman Sean Spicer told Fox News.

They are just outnumbered by the elitist liberals in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Oakland, and Sacramento. California needs its own Electoral College so that the majority, who live in the cities, and the bedroom communities, would not have the automatic majority vote and the say-so just on the “popular” vote, where they disenfranchise the rest. One example is the water steal by L.A. from the rest of California. L.A. has the votes and therefore steals water from the rest of CA. and the rest of CA cannot outvote them. It is the same with the political world. Northern CA is outvoted by the cities and cannot even separate from Southern CA, if put to a statewide vote. These Californians need our support, instead of lumping all Californians together.

Mike, No, No, No!!! I am a Californian all of my life (90s) except for two years away in college. I want to remain a part of the nation of America. I am proud of both. California is a “purple” state. Almost half of the state is red, while the two larger cities and west coast are blue, according to the nap in our newspaper. Even though I now live in the blue part, I am, and so are others, voting “red,” and I always have. I don’t know what advantage there would be in leaving the union, and I hope if that does come up for a vote, it is soundly defeated!!!!!

I am a native Californian and have lived in California all my life (68 years). I am a Republican and not only voted for Trump but organized a rally for him. There are many people in California who are conservative and love Trump very much. I would much prefer the idea of keeping California as a state of this country. That way, the many, many conservative people who live here would not be penalized by having to live in a place that is no longer part of the US or move! Neither option sounds like a good choice to me! What other options could we come up with rather than propose a plan that would be very difficult for the wonderful supportive Trump lovers who happen to live in California?

I read that there were Secret Service agents on the flight (glad to hear it) but they let the airline personnel handle it. I think that was a good decision. But if this nitwit & its “husband” had made a physically threatening move I hope they were prepared to take them down instantly.

They could have easily afforded to charter a private plane or fly a different airlines and request first-class and privacy in order to get from NY to their private jet awaiting in San Francisco that is taking them to Hawaii. What I don’t understand is why they compromised their safety and that of their three little children by flying a budget airline with no first-class accommodations.

Ivanka was minding her own business, and was not provoking any controversy. She was simply on a commercial flight, and was unjustly harassed. Even Goldstein’s husband, Matt Lasner, bragged about the harassment before it even happened (though his tweet was later deleted).
I am sure that Hunter College does not approve of such disrespectful behavior, and I feel Goldstein deserves to be suspended, reprimanded, or pushed to issue an apology for doing such a poor job in representing the values of your institution.

I read this article earlier today. And I also read some of the reactions from “celebrities” and ordinary citizens. I was gladdened by the compassion of some citizens but deeply disturbed by the cold-hearted & nasty reaction expressed by so many leftists.
This incident stuck in my brain more that most events I read about today. I suppose that is because it involved a young lady- whom I view as less able to defend herself physically from her harasser’s intimidation. And she was in a particularly vulnerable position- trapped as she was in an enclosed space but also struggling to protect her children, from physical or emotional harm from an irate unknown assailant.
My long-winded introduction is the set up for a realization that hit me about 8 hours after reading this article: What I find frightening about this event and the numerous similar ones we Trump supporters are being subjected to under the onslaught of widespread and ceaseless Democrat hatred. As one with more than a passing interest in the past (I have a Master’s Degree in History), I am struck by the sudden dawning of recognition that, during the Obama years, America’s leftist have finally evolved into full fledged Bolsheviks. Incapable of human decency, respect, or compassion for their “enemies.” And that is what we patriotic, traditional, Christian citizens are now seen as– not opponents, not people who simply disagree, but ENEMIES to be obliterated. We moderates and conservatives have thwarted their plans for transforming America into Utopia and they are rabidly irate.
I have seen their type of left wing zealotry before in my studies: the French Revolution, the Russian Revolution, the Red Chinese Revolution, Khemr Rogue, Cuba. The ones I was receiving were giving out identical, anti- Trump information Trump supporters attack stories and anti- Trump videos from the Washington Post. Now all of the hoaxes about minorities being assaulted and Muslim girls bieng attacked have been outed and two of the girls are in jail for filing false police reports. The Huffington Post had a map pin pointing the locations of these ‘fake’ assaults across the country. CNN has recently been asked by FOX to recant a story they had on their air about 2 Muslim men who were asked to leave a Delta flight because they were speaking Arabic. That story was actually about a prankster who set up the incident. There was a, subsequent, push, by naive readers and viewers, to boycott Delta. This false news leads to the type of incident involving the 2 men, en route to San Francisco, who menaced Ivanka Trump, her cousins and children. They were taken off that Jet Blue flight and because the hater is an attorney he has a higher degree of care in his actions. It is too bad other passengers on that flight don’t sue him for intentional infliction of emotional harm and delaying their flight. Hunter College might be well served to ensure he is psychologically fit to teach. Donald Trump is not ruining his life he is ruining his own life.
