President Barack Obama has insisted that the United States citizens are safe and there is no need to fear Islamic extremists here in the United States.
In fact, in an interview with CBS News as recently as December, Obama said, “Our homeland has never been more protected.”
But he’s dead wrong.
In 2015 there were dozens of uncovered Islamic terror plots and bloody attacks on American soil, and already in 2016 that terror theme has continued.
Here’s a breakdown of a few of the domestic terror attacks and uncovered plots from January of last year until now – one for each month – that prove the very real danger to our homeland.
January of 2015 —
21-year-old Islamic convert Christopher Lee Cornell of Cincinnati, Ohio, bought two semi-automatic rifles and 600 rounds of ammunition. He planned to shoot and kill employees and officials near the U.S. Capitol after planting home-made pipe bombs around the area. Luckily, law enforcement agents stopped him in the parking lot after the firearms purchase, arrested him and foiled his deadly plot to attack the Capitol.
February —
Six refugees in St. Louis, Missouri were charged with sending money and military equipment to Islamic extremist groups in Syria. According to the US attorney’s office, all six had immigrated to the United States from Bosnia. Three had become naturalized citizens, and the other three had either refugee or legal resident status.
March —
National Guard soldier Hasan Edmonds and his cousin planned to use Hasan’s inside knowledge of a local National Guard armory to slaughter around 120 servicemen in Illinois. Hasan was captured while attempting to travel to join ISIS but was stopped by officials in Egypt, while his cousin – who planned to carry out their attack here at home – was arrested. They allegedly intended to provide material support to ISIS and travel overseas to support the terror group.
April —
Noelle Valentzas and Adia Siddqui of Queens, New York were arrested for plotting a bombing attack at a police funeral. The two terror-wannabes stock-piled gas tanks, fertilizer, and a pressure cooker in order to mimic the 2013 Boston marathon bombing. They were ultimately charged with conspiring to use a weapon of mass destruction after boasting of their plan to an undercover FBI agent.
Not every terror plot was stopped.
May —
Elton Simpson and Nadir Soofi were killed in a gun battle with police in Garland, Texas while attempting mass murder at a “Draw Muhammad” cartoon contest. Approximately 200 participants were forced to evacuate the area due to fears of a bomb in the terrorist’s vehicle. The event was described as a “free speech” event sponsored by the American Freedom Defense Initiative. Moments before the attack, one of gunmen had tweeted his allegiance to the Islamic State.
June —
Following the attack on the cartoon contest, Usaamah Rahim wanted to extract revenge for his fellow radical Islamist. So Rahim planned to hunt down and behead Pamela Geller, executive director of the American Freedom Defense initiative and the woman who had organized the “Draw Muhammad” contest. After difficulty finding Geller, he changed his target to police officers. Rahim was shot and killed when he was confronted in Boston by a police officer and refused to drop his knife.
Geller told NBC, “It won’t end with me or the cops. It’s just the beginning. The one thing that’s being ignored that came out of Garland is that ISIS is here. Islamic terrorism is here.” She was right.
July —
Muhammad Youssef Abdulazee, 25, was so inspired by Al-Qaeda and the idea of martyrdom, he opened fire at two separate military installations in Chattanooga, Tennessee. During the massacre, Abdulazee killed four unarmed marines and a sailor. He also wounded another marine and police officer, before finally being shot and killed by police.
August —
Mohammad Oda Dakhlalla, 22, and his wife Jaelyn Delshaun Young, 19, were arrested by the FBI in a small regional airport in Mississippi on their way to Syria to fight alongside ISIS. The terror couple were charged with attempting and conspiring to provide material support and resources to a foreign terrorist organization. They only caught the FBI’s attention months earlier, when they were found to be preaching radical Islamic terror on Twitter.
September —
Joshua Ryne Goldberg was arrested in Orange Park, Florida and charged with distributing information relating to explosives, destructive devices, and weapons of mass destruction. He provided a confidential law enforcement informant, whom he thought was planning an attack to honor the attacks on the World Trade Center in 2001, with instructions and encouraged the informant to detonate the bomb at a memorial event meant to honor the fallen New York first responders who were killed in the September 11th terror attack.
October —
Ardit Ferizi was detained in Malaysia on a U.S. arrest warrant alleging he provided material support to ISIS, had hacked computers and committed identity theft. Ferizi allegedly stole personal information of more than 1,000 U.S. service members and federal employees and gave that information to multiple ISIS operatives.
November —
Faisal Mohammad, 18, stormed into a classroom at the University of California and began slashing and stabbing students with a hunting knife. After Mohammad was confronted and tackled by a local janitor, his backpack was found to contain a printed-out Islamic State flag and a manifesto that detailed his plan, which including ambushing police and beheading fellow students.
December —
The infamous San Bernadino attacks occurred in which 15 people were killed and 21 others injured after terrorists Tashfeen Malik, 27, and Syed Rizwan Farook, 28, went on a shooting spree at Farook’s company Christmas party. Malik emigrated from Pakistan on a fiancée visa and passed through the U.S. vetting process. The two met long after Farook had conspired and plotted attacks with his neighbor for years.
January of 2016 —
Two terrorist fighters living in the United States, who arrived as part of the Obama administration refugee program, were arrested on terrorism-related charges for their ties to the Islamic State. One of the men, Aws Mohammed Younis Al-Jayab, 23, of Sacramento is accused traveling to Syria to fight for ISIS and lying to investigators about it. Omar Faraj Saeed Al Harden, 24, of Houston, was indicted on three charges that he tried to provide material support to the extremists.
Also in January, Edward Archer, 30, declared his allegiance to ISIS before turning his gun on a Philadelphia cop. Archer fired thirteen rounds into the police cruiser during a bloody ambush, and declared he did so “in the name of Allah.” Philadelphia police have since warned that Archer may belong to a larger radical group in the area, and have asked citizens to be cautious.
It is clear from this list that Islamic extremism is a very real threat to American citizen’s safety, and our borders are not as safe from terror threats as the Obama administration would have voters believe.
Here’s the truth: Islamic terror is here. It’s time for Mr. Obama to face that fact.

If the president doesn’t do it the governors of each state should implement an open carry law. This shit has to stop before it gets any worse.
