Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., has spent the weeks since the 2020 general election pushing Democratic Party leaders to embrace her divisive firebrand socialism.
Ocasio-Cortez claimed that Democrats lost a stunning amount of House races because they didn’t swing far enough left.

In response, she got an unexpected Thanksgiving invitation from Sen. David Perdue, R-G.A.
Come down to Georgia and tell all the voters you want about embracing socialism, he said.
Perdue even said he’d even foot the bill for Ocasio-Cortez to come to his state and campaign against him.
“Ocasio-Cortez may come down to Georgia, and you made a very kind offer to her, didn’t you?” the Georgia senator was asked in a recent interview on Fox & Friends.
“I want to buy her ticket. I want her to come.” Perdue replied.
“You’ll buy her a ticket to come down to Georgia?” the host asked.

“Oh, absolutely,” Perdue responded. “Absolutely. Look, what she says is just so profound! She said, ‘We have to win those two seats in Georgia, because we [Democrats] do not want to negotiate.”
“She wants the Green New Deal without compromise,” he continued. The Georgia senator listed all the far-left bills that Democrats passed when they have controlled all three branches of government.
“I could go back a hundred years. When the Democrats have total control — which is what they want — you end up with massive, sweeping changes in America that you would never be able to do with a bipartisan requirement,” Perdue said.
Unless extraordinary legal victories are able to overturn the results of the 2020 election before the Electoral College vote on Dec. 8th, Joe Biden is presumed to be the president-elect.
Democrats narrowly held the House of Representatives in the general election, which shifts the focus of the political world to Georgia. Currently, Republicans control 50 seats to Democrats 48. Two special runoffs in early January will decide if Democrats control the legislative and executive branch.
But not every conservative is on board with Perdue and his colleague, Sen. Kelly Loeffler, re-election campaigns.

A small but vocal group of conservative voters in the state have threatened to boycott the upcoming election unless establishment Republicans in the state defend President Donald Trump’s struggling legal battles.
If Trump is allowed to lose, this voter group says, then Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and his political allies should also lose. Badly.
The Republicans will win the Senate handily if they fight with Trump to expose the corruption and force a full audit and recount. But they want to win without Trump, they want to go back to business as usual. They need to be taught a lesson, they need to lose badly.
