“Send me a text at 773-365-9687—I want to hear how you’re doing, what’s on your mind, and how you’re planning on voting this year.”
And he’s promising to return the favor.
“I’ll be in touch from time to time to share what’s on my mind, too,” he added.

It has critics saying it appears Obama is running for office instead of his former vice president.
Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden has been accused by his rivals of campaigning from his basement while the battle with a global pandemic rages on. Many opponents have called his campaign invisible.
Biden’s absence has led to an “enthusiasm gap” with President Donald Trump’s campaign. Perhaps with the Obama initiative, advisors are hoping to boost excitement in a quirky promo strategy.
Multiple sources report that the former president is using the social media app, Community, where public officials send their followers text messages or speak to them one-on-one.
Will someone text and ask Obama where Biden is?
