“On the Holmes Front, with Frank Holmes”
Decisions have consequences – and electing Barack Obama president was one of the most disastrous in U.S. history. New figures show how Americans are still dying because of Obama’s policies a year after he left office.
Four months disappeared from the average American’s life during the last two years of Obama’s presidency.
The U.S. life expectancy actually fell in 2016 – for the second year in a row.

An American born in 2016 could expect to live 78.6 years, a decrease from 2015 – which was already down from 2014.
“This was the first time life expectancy in the U.S. has declined two years in a row since declines in 1962 and 1963,” because of a flu epidemic, according to the National Center for Health Statistics (NCHS).
But there was no flu this time. President Obama’s disconnect from struggling people living paycheck-to-paycheck brought hopelessness – and death – to middle-class Americans.
In 2015, all of Obamacare’s job-killing provisions became law – and life expectancy fell for the first time since Bill Clinton was sworn into office.

Suicides rose again in 2016, hitting their highest level in 30 years. Obama was too busy obsessing over transgender bathrooms and waging his War on Coal to notice – or care.

Obama left America in a dark, depressed place when he left office – and we shouldn’t kid ourselves that we’re out of the woods yet. Experts already expect next year’s life expectancy to fall, based on trends from Obama’s years in office.
It will take President Trump time to turn this around, but there are already some good signs that we’re moving in the right direction.

What do you know? Having a president who no longer trashes the police after every single traffic incident – and whips up Black Lives Matters fanatics – makes a difference.

The unemployment rate dropped 4.1 percent – its lowest level since February 2001.

And Americans are more comfortable about their finances than any time in the last 16 years.
Obama promised to give Americans “hope” in 2008 – and voters fell for it hook, line, and sinker in two elections. Thanks to President Trump, they may just live to regret it.
