The mainstream media has been obsessed with the impeachment inquiry into whether President Donald Trump engaged in a “quid pro quo” with Ukraine.
But it turns out that corrupt Hillary Clinton and her Clinton Foundation colleagues may have a deep-seeded quid pro quo scandal of their own…
And nobody is talking about it…
See, the latest financial reports have been released from the Clinton Foundation, and according to Fox News, the non-profit is tanking money.
It’s been losing huge sums of money in consecutive years since Hillary ran for president and lost in 2016 — bleeding more than $16 million a year ever since then.
So the Clinton Foundation is struggling — the donations just aren’t coming in like they used to.
And the reason why is obvious.
With both Hillary and Bill Clinton out of politics, there’s nothing they can offer donors anymore. So the donors appear to be bailing out.
There have long been allegations that the Clinton Foundation was a den of quid-pro-quo deals, and the fundraising numbers seem to support that assumption.
Back in 2016 The New York Times reported that Hillary’s campaign aides were uneasy with quid pro quo promises being made between her campaign and foreign donors — such as Hillary promising to show up to a Clinton Foundation event for the king of Morocco, who donated $12 million to the charity.
“She created this mess and she knows it,” a close aide, Huma Abedin, wrote in an email about Hillary at the time.
The NYT report details a slew of in-house emails between Clinton aides as they express concern over the rampant exchange of favors.
It was clearly a problem — far from a one-time occurrence.
The Clintons even had their own Ukraine saga!
In one instance, Ukrainian steel magnate Victor Pinchuk, donated $10 million to the Clinton Foundation in order to score a meeting with Bill Clinton. According to the NYT report, it is unclear whether or not the meeting ever took place.
The foreign donations for favors were so rampant that even Chelsea Clinton was apparenty worried!
She brought in an outside law firm to audit the Clinton Foundation’s practices, according to NYT.
Of the interviews conducted, some interviewees were worried that donors to the Clinton Foundation did so with the expectation that they’d receive “quid pro quo” benefits in return for a gift.
Yikes…
And there’s proof that Hillary and the crooks knew what they were doing.
As of August 2016, her campaign announced it would stop accepting foreign donations if she were elected president.
Clearly there was concern about the appearance of quid pro quo.
Of course, she lost, and now there are no significant quid pro quos to give.
And three years later, the Clinton Foundation is draining money.
