Stephen Henderson is the Pulitzer Prize-winning editorial page editor of The Detroit Free Press, the largest newspaper in Michigan.
And he has a message for his readers: Kidnap, torture and kill conservative lawmakers for screwing up Detroit city schools.
Almost unbelievable. But true.
An editor for the largest newspaper in one of the biggest cities in America is advocating the brutal murder of conservative politicians. And it doesn’t appear that the paper has any plans to discipline him for it.
This is the same bankrupt Detroit, mind you, that has been under firm Democratic party control for over 50 years.
But instead of calling out Democrats, Henderson says Michigan GOP lawmakers should be rounded up and murdered to account for their attempts to fix the city’s school problems.
Last Friday, Henderson tweeted:

Henderson doubled-down Saturday and opened his editorial in the Detroit Free Press with the line, “We really ought to round up the lawmakers who took money to protect and perpetuate the failing charter-school experiment in Detroit, sew them into burlap sacks with rabid animals, and toss them into the Straits of Mackinac.”
This is a Pulitzer Prize winner, folks, advocating the murder of those he disagrees with.
He’s a hypocrite, too. Just months ago, as The Daily Caller first pointed out, Henderson wrote a scathing editorial criticizing GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump for using inflammatory rhetoric.
Since then, Henderson has gone on Twitter and refused to apologize, saying he wasn’t sorry for calling for violence.
He should be — especially at a time when national political tensions have reached a boiling point. On Wednesday, police announced three new arrests of anti-Trump radicals from the recent San Jose riot, one for felony assault with a deadly weapon.
These are fragile times. And anyone who writes, as Henderson did, that democratically elected lawmakers they disagree with deserve “an old-school retributive response. A sack. An animal. A lake” ought to be ashamed of themselves and the violence they’re inspiring.
“No lover of actual democracy could weep at that outcome,” Henderson wrote.
I weep. Because the shameful state of the American mainstream media is enough to bring a reasonable person to tears.

Up until the late 1960’s, Detroit was a great place to live in. Plenty of good paying union jobs. Beautiful brick homes in neighborhoods that would rival or surpass most suburbs. Crime harmed Detroit more than the economy. Detroit is making a bit of a comeback these days.
The only reason that Detroit might be making a bit of a comeback is because the Chief of Police is pro gun.

I would suggest conservatives boycott advertisers in the newspaper. I would also suggest they cancel their subscriptions to the paper. It only takes one subscription to keep a boycott list going. As the circulation for the paper declines, many advertisers will put out of the paper because it no longer reaches their consumers.

I think that Henderson should be arrested and jailed for his direct connection that has caused others harm; Conspiracy to commit a crime. This is absolutely shameful! And to think the government officials in that area support such insidious behavior makes this much worse. Kwame Kilpatrick, who served as Mayor from 2002 to 2008, represents the epitome of corruption. In 2008, he pleaded guilty to two felonies and no contest to a third one, receiving a sentence of 120 days. In 2010, he received a five year sentence for probation violations stemming from his obstruction of justice conviction. Currently Kilpatrick, along with his father, Bernard Kilpatrick, and his longtime contractor friend Bobby Ferguson, who got millions of dollars in city work, are awaiting a jury verdict on racketeering, bribery and tax charges that could send them all to jail for 20 years.
But not this DOJ – maybe if Trump can be successful, we will get some action and answers to a lot of things that have been swept under the rug, or blacked out by lame stream media. This DOJ will do nothing to a democrat, no matter what they have done.

These are the same people that allowed the DPS to purchase $32,000,000 of artwork to put in the halls of the DPS approximately 7-8 years ago, instead of putting the kids artwork in the halls, classrooms and offices, like the 2 schools I’ve worked in over the last 11 years. I think it’s important that we all learn the lesson that Detroit has for us; Democrats don’t care for our Republic at all. My father was from Michigan and he remembers the “real” Detroit; it’s a shame that it’s gone. I hope that somehow God will restore this once great city to its former prosperity and beauty.

When disobedience and rioting and severe damage is recommended by the Detroit Free Press they are way out of line and border on dangerous propagandism…….there are large scale trends and events which hint at days in a not so distant future. If you have ever been in a war zone I think you would realize that editorials at this level, with this timing, are potentially very grim.
