After thousands of deleted emails, millions of dollars in taxpayer-funded investigations, and over a dozen months of backtracking and cover-ups, Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton successfully escaped indictment by FBI investigators.
But 44 previously-unreleased Clinton emails have critics wondering — Is this finally the hard evidence needed to prove she broke the law?
The State Department has turned over the nearly four dozen previously-undisclosed Clinton email exchanges she failed to include among the 30,000 private messages she turned over to the government last year.
The emails reveal Clinton was — at the very least — acting unethically in her interactions with lobbyists, Wall Street insiders, and political donors while secretary of state, critics say. At worst, the emails are proof she knowingly broke the law.
In other words, the emails confirm a damning secret the Clinton campaign is hoping voters don’t see — that donating to the Clinton Foundation could lead to influence over Clinton as secretary of state.
The conservative legal group Judicial Watch obtained the secret emails as part of its lawsuit against the State Department. They cover Clinton’s first three months as secretary of state in early 2009, a period for which Clinton did not turn over any emails to the State Department last year. The government found the newly disclosed messages during a search of agency computer files from longtime Clinton aide Huma Abedin.
“No wonder Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin hid emails from the American people, the courts and Congress,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton in a statement. “They show the Clinton Foundation, Clinton donors, and operatives worked with Hillary Clinton in potential violation of the law.”
The new Clinton emails include a February 2009 message to her from Stephen Roach, then-chairman of Morgan Stanley Asia, saying he planned to testify to Congress that week and was “happy to help in any way I can.” Roach later met with Clinton over the summer for 30 minutes, according to Clinton calendars first obtained by The Associated Press.
Morgan Stanley is a major Clinton Foundation donor.
In another email, Clinton’s chief of staff, Cheryl Mills, informed her that National Security Agency and State Department officials discussed an attempt to develop a modified Blackberry for Clinton that might be used when she worked in a restricted State Department office that did not allow private phones.
Clinton called the development “good news,” but she continued using a private Blackberry tied to her private server.
Another email seemed to show an effort to secure employment at the State Department for a Clinton Foundation supporter.

Indeed. i believe that some combination of the following suggestions ought to be implemented by every State government, and PRIOR to Nov 8th, as well:
Make paper ballots, numbered with tear-off receipts, available to all who ask for them.
Insist that State reps responsible for certifying the vote totals be granted total access to all voting machines, but under constant video surveillance uplinked to the Web in real-time and stored for at least a year.
Digitally photograph and immediately upload time-stamped pictures of every voter to a database which automatically scans for that individual, to assure Americans that NO ONE is allowed to vote more than once; if such a scan reveals a duplicate(and it’s logically feasible that a fraud has been committed), then that person is to be placed under arrest immediately or asap.
Insist that an independent computer hacking expert be on-hand at every polling station and regional tabulation and national tabulation center to randomly take voting machines off-line to check for anomalies throughout the voting hours, and subsequently once the polls close.
If deemed advisable by the computer hacking experts, put cellphone jamming devices(or other jamming devices, as deemed appropriate) in every polling station to prevent or frustrate attempts to remotely hack into voting machines.
Insist that international and/or American volunteer monitors be given access to conduct exit polling, and to compare their results with the vote totals at end of day; should there be a variance of 5% or more, declare voting fraud and implement IMMEDIATE auditing of said polling station.

Paper Ballots, YES, we had them a few years back and the only draw back was the time it took to count them. NO same day, or 1 day bull. Real people counted. No hanging chads. No ballots counted after polls closed because, oops found these in trunk of car. Or better yet the mail in ballot, only if out of the country, or state, or truly handicapped. There was a time a team of folks were setup to p/u folks who could not get to the polls. Bottom line is I called and requested a paper ballot and the young one tried to tell there was not or ever has been such a thing. Ah, for the good ole days, harder to rig elections.

Any prosecutor is under obligation to not bring a case to trial that he/she has no chance of winning. Since President Obama already declared Hillary’s innocence and since Bill had his secret meeting with Loretta Lynch, I feel there was no way that Hillary would have been brought to justice. The phrase “natural born” was put in Article 2 at the suggestion of John Jay, the first Chief SCOTUS judge, who was considered the American expert on Vattel’s “Law of Nations.” Emmerrich Vattel wrote this multi-volume series and published it some thirty years before America started writing a Constitution, and in it, he declared that for ALL countries, ONLY those born of TWO citizens of that country could be considered as “natural born.”
That said, the First Congress, in their second session, realized that since the Constitution as ratified did not contain the definition of the phrase, they would define it in law for posterity’s sake, as is their job. They defined it the same way Vattel did, albeit with a couple of modifications. The law stated that there were exceptions for those born prior to the Revolution, and in addition, it didn’t matter WHERE a child was born, as long as it was born of TWO US Citizens, it was considered to be “natural born.”
