An NBC News sports director was arrest in Las Vegas on Tuesday for allegedly masturbating at a bar, Fox News reported.
Security footage allegedly shows Randy Howe looking around “as if he was nervous or paranoid that someone was watching” while he was engaged in lewd behavior in front of a slot machine at the bar, a police report said.
Howe is the sport director of NBC News-affiliate KSNV-TV.
“One employee told two responding officers they’d seen Howe walking to the restroom with his penis exposed, police said. Other employees reportedly told police it wasn’t the first time they’d seen Howe masturbate at the bar,” Fox News Channel reported.
Howe was jailed on one count each of indecent exposure and open gross lewdness, according to court records. He was bailed out Tuesday.
At least one employee told the responding officers they’d seen Howe walk to the bathroom with his gentiles exposed.
He was drinking energy drinks and hadn’t consumed any alcohol on the premise, reports said.
According to The Las Vegas Sun, Howe told police he wasn’t masturbating. He claimed he had a bad rash and was scratching, and told authorities he “probably shouldn’t have been scratching himself at the bar and that it was a bad decision,” the police report stated.
