President Donald Trump’s decision to pull American troops from Syria has drawn criticism from establishment politicians on both sides of the aisle — and now two unlikely lawmakers are joining forces against President Donald Trump.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., and Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., are working together, a recent press release showed.
They’re teaming up to condemn the president’s military move in Syria with a joint pledge.
“Our first order of business,” Pelosi wrote on Twitter, “was to agree that we must have a bipartisan, bicameral joint resolution to overturn the President’s dangerous decision in Syria immediately.”

Graham affirmed the union between the two respective party leaders.
“I will be working across party lines in a bicameral fashion to draft sanctions and move quickly… ” Graham wrote on Twitter. “The Speaker indicated to me that time was of the essence.”
