House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi — who claims to be a champion of women’s rights — doesn’t seem to care where the cash for her reelection campaign comes from. All that matters to the Democratic leader is that the donations pile up.
Pelosi’s political Super PAC, House Majority PAC, was recently caught accepting a massive $10,000 donation from a man facing felony pimping charges… and has refused to give the money back.
Of course, Pelosi wasn’t the only Democratic politician receiving cash from an alleged sex trafficker.
Up and down the West coast since 2010, Democratic leaders have accepted nearly $200,000 total from the owners of Backpage.com, “a classified-ad website that is a hub for sex trafficking and prostitution” whose two owners were recently charged with felony pimping charges, according to The Washington Times.
The Times reported that in just seven years, the owners “have shoveled about $99,000 to candidates and about $95,000 to Democratic parties in Arizona, Colorado and New Mexico, according to federal campaign finance data collected by the Center for Responsive Politics.”
During that time, the website has become the internet’s chief platform for child prostitution and sex slavery in the United States The Arizona Republic reported. The site has come under increased scrutiny as a result.
Since 2016, the owners seem to have doubled-down. Reports show that the website’s two owners substantially increased their political donations last year — almost exclusively to liberal politicians.
However, Pelosi and her allies don’t seem to mind that their reelection campaigns’ capital was gained from child sex slavery. Her office has denied knowing about these alleged pimps donations to their cause, and hasn’t returned the money.
The question is: Do voters buy that excuse?
Do you trust Nancy Pelosi?
