Essential activities only, she warned.
“Please, stay home except for essential activities & wear a mask anytime you’re with people you don’t live with,” she wrote on Twitter.
It’s week two of our pause. I know it's been hard, but I want to thank every Rhode Islander who's following our guidance. Please, stay home except for essential activities & wear a mask anytime you’re with people you don’t live with. Together, we can turn our case numbers around.

While her residents were locked up inside, Raimondo was busy getting boozy at an outing in Providence. According to Fox News report, Erica Oliveras snapped the viral photo that drew a mixed bag of reactions.

@mgkr blasted the liberal governor for her “rules for thee, none for me” conduct.
“You love the virus since it gives you all this power you have been seen more then once with no mask on so why should I follow your rules since you don’t,” he wrote. “People should be able to see their families no matter what you say.”
Raimondo is only the latest Democratic leader to be caught shirking their own responsibilities when it comes to the coronavirus pandemic. She follows in the footsteps of fellow Democratic Govs. Gavin Newsom of California and Phil Murphy of New Jersey, who were also caught out and about after stern orders to stay indoors.

But it wasn’t all criticism flying her way.
Some applauded the Rhode Island leader for supporting small businesses during amid a pandemic that has decimated small businesses.
According to Fox News, Oliveras, who snapped the photo, appreciated that the governor was out and about.
“The main thing I took out of it is, ‘Wow, she’s here at a small business and she’s supporting,” Oliveras said. “She came in. She supported. She bought wine. She engaged.”
