A Minnesota mother is suing her teenage child for transitioning from male to female without her permission.
Anmarie Calgaro is also suing the 17-year-old’s doctors and public health and school officials in the lawsuit filed in Minneapolis federal court Wednesday.
Calgaro says in the lawsuit that her child has been treated at a Minneapolis health clinic and given medication for transgender issues without her consent. Calgaro says the St. Louis County school district, where the teen is a student, has taken away her parental rights and refused to release records to her.
The lawsuit includes a copy of a letter of emancipation the teen obtained from a lawyer, but notes that the letter doesn’t constitute a court order. Calgaro is asking the court to halt all medical services.
The clinic didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment. The school district declined comment.

No such treatment should be allowed until the age of 25. The brain continues to develope until then. By that time mist kids change their mind on this issue.
Allan do you remember when you were that age? I do, and even though looking back in hind sight I realize my parents had the best intentions, they didn’t always come across that way and on my part I rebelled on numerous occasions. Until you are of legal age you are under the authority of your parents unless you can prove them to be unfit. This issue over gender is a non issue from where I stand, if at the age of eighteen you decide you want to be something you weren’t born that is your right, but you can’t force it down another’s throat.
If you really feel that strongly about your gender identification then maybe you should be making the efforts to change your gender to align with what you relate to instead of forcing their beliefs down others throats. So if you are a male or female that feels you are in a wrong body then save up your money and make the change, but don’t tell me what I see is wrong when it is right in front of me.
This is what political correctness and liberalism has given us, a nation where everything goes and those who disagree are labeled intolerant. I hope this mother sues the school district and all others involved in trying to subvert her authority as this child’s mother. Liberalism of this sort has been allowed to run rampant for far too long and we as Americans need to put a collective foot down and say ENOUGH!

Liberalism is destroying families and children. Our school’s leadership is also aiding in the defense of gender identity which is adding to the destruction of our children thru brain washing. All part of an agenda by Progressives to destroy the family by controlling the children and put the government in control. America needs ti wake up. Get back to God or all will be lost.
Transgender talk is in. These kids don’t even know who or what they are. They make decisions to be popular that could affect the rest of their lives, and a couple of years later they commit suicide because they can’t live with those decisions. They have to be protected from themselves. I agree no medical treatment or operations until age 25 at least; and only after psychological evaluation .

40 years ago my mother was a single parent to my younger brothers and sisters still living at home. My mother had to go to see the principal at the school because of one of my sisters. The principal informed my mother that because of her being a divorcee the state, as in the school system had legal rights to make decisions without my mothers consent because divorced parents children were considered wards of the state even though she was the custodial parent. I can tell you I have never seen my mother so mad as when she came home that day. She is 78 years old now and recently this subject came up and she like to had a melt down telling this story. The big question is when did we abrogate all of our parental rights to the state? Maybe when the leaders in our government borrowed so much money that they basically sold us all into slavery to the banksters. Don’t say not me. Your taxes that you pay would be cut in half if we had no national debt and your employer could raise your wages as well if there was no national debt. Do you want to get rid of the national debt? Tell congress you want the FED which is not any part of our government to be done away with period. The FED consist of VERY wealthy people like Soros that are laughing their ace off everyday at what a bunch of idiot sheep we are that we would pay them for paper that we already own. The ball is in your court, maybe someone needs to explain this to the young protesters who don’t have a clue what the real problems in this country even are and who is really behind them and why.
