An Ohio woman has been charged with child endangerment after she sneaked a sippy cup of vodka into a high school football game and her toddler son drank from it and became ill.
Thirty-year-old Andrea Mucciarone pleaded not guilty to the misdemeanor charge Tuesday in Conneaut (KAW’-nee-awt) Municipal Court.
The public defender assigned to represent Mucciarone said Wednesday he had no comment.
Police say Mucciarone brought the sippy cup and her 23-month-old son to a Conneaut High School football game Oct. 28 and a relative later noticed something wrong with the boy when he couldn’t stand up. Police were called to a hospital where the toddler was treated.
Conneaut’s police chief says the toddler has been placed in the custody of a relative.
Conneaut is about 70 miles east of Cleveland.

Ignorant maybe. 2 other maybes came to mind.. First is My Mom, 82, told me… this was when she was young adult new to modeling in Chicago lliinois single Moms relied on vodka to dose their toddlers when they got a “call” & had to run out to a shoot or whatever. Premise was So & so did it & the child was safe sleeping for hours. So then so & so did it …Its a “emergency babysitter” the limelight glamor seekers have passed down forever….so maybe this was on purpose. She couldn’t get a babysitter & couldn’t handle the child being disruptive & intended to subdue him/ drug him to sleep.
Other thing that came to mind is the alcohol was for her consumption. She put vodka in a innocent looking sippy cup to seek it into the event for herself. The child seeing its sippy cup demanded it, began throwing a fit when Mom wouldn’t give it to him, which staring bystanders couldn’t understand & were getting super annoyed at the ruckus so she freaked out & let the child have the sippy cup ! Whatever, its good media puts these news events out because there are still so many uneducated parents who don’t realize consequences of no-brainer things like park in the sun & its imperative to remove the child first… ice cream & frozen foods in danger of melting is just fricked up priority thinking…Parenting is the only Full time job where no education or common sense is mandated & parents failing, dropping out …..The educated reduced to getting moral of harsh lessons out by press alone…lessons their Moms didn’t know & harder debunking ill advice & traditions….So much media can do positive to promote beneficial education of things our Nations schools & liberal press have gone backward on…That’s another reason Trump won…They took snippets out of context to spin bully label lies about Trump. Defect their evil doings by accusing the innocent opponent of their dirty deeds. America has spoken. We are committed to restoring law & order & channeling our resources to Americans FIRST. We can help global ONLY when we ourselves are educated and stem tide of uneducated.
Just disgusting! Parents give their children drugs, cough syrup and now alcohol because they can’t seem to be good parents. Sad to say that society is just getting sicker and sicker by the day. There is no leadership in this country. Morals, values and ethics have gone out the window and all we seem to have is the lowest of the low. Maybe with Mr. Trump, there will be some leadership and some inspiration coming from Trump/Pence, Hollywood and TV just add to the moral decay that is forced on us as entertainment. Let’s all try to set a good example by raising the bar, each person at a time.
