Arizona Sen. John McCain liberal leanings have been heavily criticized by voters in recent months… but what he said about twice-failed Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton left conservatives cheering again.
In an interview with Esquire magazine, McCain said it was time for Hillary to “shut up” while slamming her latest book, “What Happened.”

“One of the almost irresistible impulses you have when you lose is to somehow justify why you lost and how you were mistreated: ‘I did the right thing! I did!'” McCain said.
“The hardest thing to do is to just shut up,” McCain said… but implied it was the right action to take.
McCain continued to rant about Hillary’s book release. “What’s the f***ing point? Keep the fight up? History will judge that campaign, and it’s always a period of time before they do. You’ve got to move on.”
“This is Hillary’s problem right now: She doesn’t have anything to do.”

Of course, this doesn’t mean there will be a new honeymoon between McCain and conservative voters he’d recently scorned. The Arizona senator has been under fire for his unwillingness to support President Donald Trump’s agenda, more recently for his resistance to the White House’s tax reform plan.
McCain says he's still undecided on the tax bill. Concerns? "A lot of things."

At least there’s still one thing Trump supporters and McCain agree on — that Hillary’s mouth should stay shut.
