Maxine Waters is sorry for… WHAT!? [not what you think]

California Rep. Maxine Waters is very sorry if you’re young and broke.

But she won’t let little things like “facts” and reality get in the way.

The liberal lawmaker formally apologized to millennial voters for their economic situation — while still bashing President Donald Trump, who’s economic policy has helped the United States economy boom.

“Millennials say, ‘We have done everything you told us to do, only to find out we can’t get a job,'” Waters told an audience at the Rainbow Coalition Wall Street Project Economic Summit. “And when we get a job it’s not worth going to work every day because of the pay that is offered to us.”

Waters told the audience that most young people have to work two jobs to make ends meet, which is untrue.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, only 0.2 percent of Americans actually work two jobs.

Still, Waters told the crowd that she’s going to use her position as the ranking member of the House Financial Services Committee to appease these young voters.

“We’re going to have the CEOs of all the major banks in our committee. We’re going to be asking them some questions, many of them don’t want to come, and many of them think that perhaps we’re going to be too hard on them,” Waters said. “They don’t really know. All they know is that I’m the new chair and I’ve got the gavel and they’ve got to come, and so when you come, you will find out.”

Under former President Barack Obama and Democrat control, the economic woes of millennials were well documented.

Since Trump has taken office, however, many of their fates have reversed.

According to a 2018 survey from Ernst and Young, “Millennials have experienced significant changes over the past two years – they’re graduating from college, finding full-time jobs, buying houses and getting married.”

Critics were quick to pounce on Waters’ statements.

“At a time of record employment levels in every classification, including young people and minorities, Maxine Waters claims she has millennials telling her that they can’t find jobs worth taking because of low wages,” HotAir pointed out.

Of course, Waters has been well connected to the very Wall Street bankers she says she’ll demand answers from.

She’s been named the “Most Corrupt Politician” at least four times by the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington.

But rather than working to better the lives of Americans, Waters has seemingly spent every moment over the last two years attacking Trump and demanding he be impeached.

Perhaps an apology is in order?
