Outspoken conservative lawmaker Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) has been one of MAGA and President Donald Trump’s most vocal supporters in the Republican Party.

Until now.

A shocking interview details that Greene is suddenly fed up with the state of the Republican Party, and that she’s making preparations to walk away from the GOP if things don’t change.

During an exclusive phone interview with The Daily Mail, Greene dished on why she’s not happy with how things are going with the Republican Party, MAGA, and even President Trump — and why there is a realistic chance she doesn’t belong anymore.

“I don’t know if the Republican Party is leaving me, or if I’m kind of not relating to Republican Party as much anymore,” she revealed.

“I don’t know which one it is.”

Greene admitted during the interview that her loyalty to President Trump is still strong, but sees warning sign that the GOP is out of step with the MAGA base.

Greene has been a vocal advocate for the MAGA base and she says it’s audience she feels most in-tune with. She has the largest social media following of any Republican woman, boasting close to 7.5 million followers on X alone.

“I think the Republican Party has turned its back on America First and the workers and just regular Americans,” she said.

MTG senses that the GOP is reverting to its ‘neocon’ past, and its leaders, the ‘good ole boys,’ are a formidable opponent for the true MAGA agenda.

According to Greene, she wants to stop foreign aid, continue to use DOGE to shave down government expenditures and waste, stop adding to the national debt and be on the look out for inflation.

“Like what happened all those issues? You know that I don’t know what the hell happened with the Republican Party. I really don’t.”

“But I’ll tell you one thing, the course that it’s on, I don’t want to have anything to do with it, and I, I just don’t care anymore,” she said.

In recent weeks, Greene has publicly split with the Republican Party on a variety of hot-button issues, including calling Israel’s actions in Gaza a ‘genocide.’

Greene has continued to condemn U.S. involvement in conflicts abroad and vocallay questioned where the Jeffrey Epstein files are and why they aren’t public yet.

As aforementioned earlier, Greene believes Republican women like herself have a finger on the pulse of the party that the ‘good ole boys’ in the party don’t.

“I think there’s other women in our party that are really sick and tired of the way men treat Republican women,” she said.

“I think there’s other women – Republican women – and I’m just giving my opinion here, who are really sick and tired of them,” she continued.

“And the one that really got shafted was Elise Stefanik.”

Greene was referencing Stefanik was originally nominated by Trump to serve as ambassador to the United Nations but her bid was later rescinded by the White House.

According to sources, it was thought that her nomination was pulled due to the narrow majority in the House of Representatives.

“I mean, she got screwed by Mike Johnson, and she got screwed by the White House. I’m not blaming Trump, particularly. I’m blaming the people in the White House.”

Greene has recently put forward a number of other pieces of polarizing legislation that focuses on areas not typically touched by the GOP.

In recent months she’s introduced bills to prevent cloud-seeding and releasing chemicals in the sky, make English the official language of the U.S. and to cut capital gains taxes on homes – a move she hopes will help make houses more affordable.

Greene admitted during her sit-down with The Daily Mail that she no longer feels close with GOP allies, particularly woman, that are championing causes she’s most interested in.

“I’m going alone right now on the issues that I’m speaking about,” she admitted.

Will Greene leave the Republican Party? Time will tell.

This is an ongoing story. Check back for further updates on Greene and her status.
