When the Tea Party was formed in 2009, it was a response to then-President Barack Obama.
Now, a similar movement may be occurring in the Republican Party amid the fallout from the 2020 election between President Donald Trump and Joe Biden.

Though Trump’s ardent supporters are sticking by his side as his lawyers wage a desperate legal battle against the election results, many Republican leaders — who for years publicly embraced the president — have gone silent or acknowledged Biden as the election winner.
Even Fox News is calling Biden the president-elect, leading to rival conservative network Newsmax to enjoy a bump in ratings. The division just could be responsible for the rise of a new political party.
Newsmax TV’s Greg Kelly has an idea.
Form a Make America Great Again party.
“A party about ideas, the constitution, opportunity, liberty, term limits, the second amendment, and canceling the federal Deep State,” he said. “I think it’s something that deserves serious, serious consideration in this country.”
As a first act, many social media users are vocally calling for Republican voters in Georgia to write-in Doug Collins for the senate runoff over Republican candidate Kelly Loeffler.
