The Republican National Convention represents final victory in the contentious primary for Trump and his supporters.

Former presidential rivals Ted Cruz, Chris Christie, Scott Walker and Marco Rubio are all among those set to speak at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland. Military leaders, members of Congress, actors, faith leaders and family members of Trump are also set to speak in what the Republican National Committee calls “an unconventional lineup” that will challenge the status quo and press for Trump’s agenda.

Opposing an individual candidate before the nomination is far different than even reluctantly supporting the party’s choice after he has won nomination. I strongly back the lion, Ted Cruz, and accede to the words he is sure to share at the convention.
