First Daughter Ivanka Trump was invited to appear at the 2020 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) — and when she graced the stage, she was met with raucous applause and a standing ovation, according to Variety.
Not everyone was so thrilled to see the senior White House advisor grace the stage.
Angry hordes of liberals on social media pouted about her being invited to the tech conference, furious over the fact that she received a warm welcome from fans.
They also claimed Ivanka that she wasn’t qualified to appear in the first place.
But critics also moved the goalposts that said other women were more deserving that should have been invited to the conference, despite the fact that there has been repeated calls for organizers to find more women to include in the conference, according to AP News.
lemme get this straight… after at least 2 years of CES having zero female keynote speakers and sparking protest in the female tech community, they decide to address the problem by bringing in Ivanka Trump, a woman who knows nothing about the tech industry… what a fucking joke https://t.co/2BVXIflGl2

Gary Shapiro, CEO of the Consumer Technology Association, which produces CES every year, pointed out to trigger liberals that Ivanka was beyond qualified to speak at the conference.

“There’s a lot of focus on jobs of the future, and certainly the keynote that I’ll be doing with Ivanka Trump will be focusing on… how industry is working with government on this very important issue,” Shapiro said.
In short, he had no regrets about the decision.
Liberals do deserve credit for finding new ways to reinvent Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Only the far-left could find a way to be offended that a woman was invited to speak at a male-dominated conference.
