Liberal media freaks out over “sick” illegal aliens cover-up

The liberal media have become so obsessed with making sure anti-Trump Democrats win the midterm elections that “news” networks blatantly refuse to cover pivotal news stories that would benefit the president — and one will make the liberal media talking heads freak out when it spreads.

In the latest spectacle of media bias, several networks refused to cover an event where Angel Families shared their grief over losing loved ones to illegal immigrants—a move the White House calls “sick,” “disgusting,” and “a total disgrace.”

President Donald Trump invited grief-stricken families to share memories of their loved ones in a White House event Monday.

The same day, President Trump signed a  presidential proclamation declaring February 22 “National Angel Family Day,” which highlighted “Laken Riley, Jocelyn Nungaray, and Rachel Morin, who were brutally attacked and murdered by savage illegal aliens, and in the lives of Matthew Denice, Sarah Root, and Ivory Smith, killed by drunk-driving illegal aliens. Each of these lives and countless others were stolen by criminal illegal aliens who should have never been in our country.  Each of them was loved, full of promise, and taken far too soon.”

“The most tragic part of this crisis,” said the White House, is that “every life taken, every child trafficked, every vehicular homicide, every drug-related death, and every crime committed in this country by an illegal alien is 100 percent preventable.”

At the event, many families spoke about their loss. “Our youngest son, Joshua, was brutally beaten, tortured, strangled to death, and his body set on fire,” said Angel Mom Laura Wilkerson.

Steve Ronnebeck lost his son, Grant, who was murdered by an illegal alien at a convenience store in Arizona at the age of 21.

In another case, two illegal aliens, who had been arrested numerous times, ambushed former U.S. Marine and Border Patrol Agent Javier Vega Jr. as he and his family were fishing. They shot and killed Javier and shot his father, Javier Sr., in the back.

The fallen agent’s mother, Marie, shot back and set the criminal aliens scurrying. “Had we not fired back, they would have killed everyone there, including the children, so that there wouldn’t be any witnesses,” she said.

“Thank God we have you in office,” Marie Vega told President Trump. Without him, “America wouldn’t know the consequences of open borders.”

No wonder the Fake News media didn’t want to cover the event, which undercuts the Democrats’ immigration record over multiple administrations. Worse yet, the Angel Families repeatedly expressed their gratitude to President Trump.

Laken Riley’s mother, Allyson Phillips, broke down in tears remembering her daughter—and thanking President Trump for fighting to keep other families from knowing her heartbreak.

“I just can’t thank you enough,” she said.

Not only did they praise the president, but they openly discussed the skewed media coverage of illegal immigration.

“I’m sick and tired of hearing these (Democrat] politicians stand up on these podiums and say how sorry they are for seeing these criminal illegal aliens being ‘ripped apart’ from their families,” said Jody Jones, the brother of Rocky Jones, who was shot by an illegal alien eight times at point-blank range.

“What about us?! What about the American family?! What about us? We mean something, too.  “And this man right here ,” said Jones, gesturing to  President Trump, “understands it.”

But even in their worst dreams, Angel Families could never imagine the treatment they would receive from the media from this event. They didn’t just ignore the event; they insulted the survivors.

On CNN Monday morning, Audie Cornish asked a panel what President Trump would say in his State of the Union address, which two-thirds of Americans rated favorably.

“I think what we’re actually getting a little preview of kind of the theme of his address later today at the White House, when he hosts the so-called ‘Angel Moms,’” said CNN political analyst Seung Ming Kim on CNN Monday morning.

So-called “Angel Moms”? No one in the media questioned the grief of Renee Good’s wife after Good provoked an encounter with ICE agents that led to her death. But when U.S. citizens are victimized by illegal aliens, the intersectional pyramid demands that the media marginalize them.

The most prestigious newspaper in the world, The New York Times, also put the term in scare quotes in its headline on Tuesday: “‘Angel Families’ Return to Washington to Back Up Trump Ahead of the State of the Union,” treating grieving families as political tools manipulated by the great puppet-master, President Donald Trump.

The problem didn’t just begin; the media have been doing this for years.

“When are you going to have us on?” an angel mom asked CNN at a White House event in February…2019.

The woman was holding her son’s remains in a small urn.

Incredibly, notorious Hate-Trump anchor Jim Acosta showed more decency than his modern-day CNN successors.

In 2019, Acosta caved and featured the mothers, reporting on “the undocumented immigrants that were responsible for the crimes that took away their loved ones.”

“I was telling them in terms of all of us here at CNN our hearts go out to them. There is no attempt to diminish what they have gone through or take away what they have gone through,” said Acosta.

Seven years later, CNN’s “reporters” can’t even muster the warmth, humanity, and bipartisanship of Jim Acosta.

“CNN  is a total disgrace,” said White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt, tagging CNN on social media to make sure the network saw it. “President Trump hosted a powerful event honoring Angel Families who lost loved ones at the hands of illegal alien criminals and deadly drugs – but CNN refused to cover EVEN one second of it.”

CNN, founded by media mogul Ted Turner in 1980 as the nation’s first 24-hour cable news network, “pretend(s) to be a news organization, but they refuse to cover anything that doesn’t fit the Left’s narrative. This is why CNN is failing and losing all of their viewership.”

CNN’s more liberal, and more successful, cable news competitor MSNOW also skipped carrying the heartrending event.

“CNN and MSNow(?) aren’t covering it,” said Deputy Communications Director Kaelan Dorr. “Sick. Disgusting. Mask is off.”

The liberal media know the electoral consequences of highlighting families torn apart by Democrats’ open border policies, and they can’t take that chance. Angel Families have continually sided with President Trump and the MAGA movement.

More than 60 Angel Families signed a letter urging Congress to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill Act, to close the southern border with Mexico and deport every illegal immigrant from U.S. soil, last summer.

President Trump followed through with that promise by dispatching Border Patrol and ICE agents across the nation and giving illegal aliens an incentive to leave the country voluntarily.

His results were so successful that America had net negative migration for the first time in modern history. In 2025, 2.2 million illegal aliens left the United States voluntarily (1.6 million) or were deported (550,000), according to the White House.

In fact, President Trump became too successful, leading to calls from Democrats—and some Republicans—that the administration abandon its campaign promise to deport all illegal aliens and focus on “the worst of the worst” instead. Those forces appeared to win a victory, as Minnesota Governor Tim Walz announced he had successfully negotiated for ICE agents to pull back in Minneapolis after the shooting of two American citizens.

The Democrats thought they won. Unfortunately for them, the White House recommitted to its original deportation strategy as a way of honoring Angel Families and the loved ones they’ve lost.

The Trump administration promised on social media that it will always “remember the American lives stolen from us, stand with Angel Families, and recommit to the largest mass-deportation effort in our nation’s history.”

The Democrats lost, and they don’t even know it yet—because their favorite networks refused to carry the story.
