Another liberal, Hollywood elitist has decided that her political opinion matters to the American people — and this time 72-year-old Helen Mirren decided to go after First Daughter Ivanka Trump.
In an interview with Allure for their August issue, Mirren said, “[Ivanka] talks a good game, but there’s no substance.”
She continued her nasty comments with a verbal spat in Ivanka’s face, saying, “Her book [Women Who Work] is so ignorant about how the majority of women live, talking about ‘make time for yourself to have a massage.’Puh-lease.”
But she didn’t stop there. Mirren went on to share her criticism of the entire first family.
“[Donald] is less of an extremist than he lets on,” Mirren said of the president. “He just said and did whatever it took to get what he desired. That is quite terrifying, because it means there’s a lack of morality there and a lack of conscientiousness.”
She also shared her criticism of First Lady Melania, claiming that she is the only one who “could take him down.”
“You look at old Mel there, and she is one of the most powerful women in the world because she could take him down.”
Sorry Mirren, but Melania likely doesn’t want to take him down — because she wants to make America great.
She then tried to claim she knows what the first lady is thinking because of their similar heritage.
“I’m Eastern European, you know; [we’ve] got these dark souls. That dark Slovenian soul is about to come out.”
But Mirren clearly has no idea what she’s talking about. The first family has stood loyally by Trump and there are no signs of that changing anytime soon.
Luckily for the rest of us, celebrity’s liberal opinions mean absolutely nothing in Washington.
