In case anyone ever doubted that Kathy Griffin’s apology for pretending to behead President Donald Trump was phony, she just removed all doubt.
Not only is she not sorry, but she just announced a new tour to spew hate against Trump and his supporters worldwide.
“I am no longer sorry,” Griffin told Australia’s Seven Network on Tuesday as she announced her new global, anti-Trump tour.
“I wanted to shame him. And that’s what happened,” Griffin told the “Sunrise” TV show.
“No, I don’t apologize for that photo anymore, and I think the outrage is complete B.S.,” she said.
In late May, the 56-year-old posed for a picture holding what appeared to be the bloody, decapitated head of President Trump.
A new article written by a reporter for New York magazine reveals that Griffin “wasn’t at all concerned” when the gruesome photo that she and Tyler Shields took – which was actually a pineapple covered with a Trump mask smeared with ketchup – started going viral.
She wanted the publicity…until she started losing money. Then, came the fake “apology.”
“Three hours later, I got an Instagram alert on my phone: Griffin had posted her apology video,” wrote Yashar Ali.
Ali divulges that Griffin’s makeup-free apology video was so phony that she had to be talked into it by Rosie O’Donnell, the most hate-filled anti-Trump celebrity in Hollywood.
The American people saw through her façade, and within 24 hours, every one of her tour dates was canceled – costing her $1 million. And the Secret Service opened a two-month investigation.
Three days later, Griffin hired an attorney and accused Trump of “bullying” her.
“He broke me,” she whimpered.
To be fair, she seemed pretty broken in the first place.
Now, she’s done pretending she’s sorry for her make believe murder. She says that President Trump more than deserved the picture of his mock beheading, because he believes in securing the border.
“President Trump just pardoned (Sheriff) Joe Arpaio, who was essentially running a concentration camp in the Arizona desert,” she told The Cut. “He’s kicking out young adults who were brought here as kids by their parents, and I’m the one who has to continue to apologize?”
“Why should I apologize?” she defiantly asked.
Not only does she not apologize – she viciously attacks those who question whether her ISIS-like assassination picture might have been a little bit extreme. When a female interviewer in Australia asked her if the picture was “over the top,” Griffin snapped at her, “No, you’re full of crap. Stop this!”
“You’re like a white Trump voter in America!” she barked – like that’s the worst thing anyone in the world could be.
Now she’s going to take her hatred worldwide.
She announced her “Laugh Your Head Off” tour will profit off her faked assassination in Australia, Dublin, and stages around the world.
And she’s already started bad-mouthing the Trump supporters she blames for costing her a million bucks.
“These Trump fans are hardcore,” she said. “They’re a minority, but they know how to act like a majority.”
According to her, smearing you and Donald Trump on foreign soil is her duty as a comedian.
“Comics by their nature are anti-establishment,” she said – even though hating Trump and his supporters is the most establishment-friendly position anyone could take.
Comedians have to attack “people in power,” she said. “I will never abdicate that responsibility.”
For all her complaining, Kathy seems to be making out alright. She just moved into a new $10.5 million, 13,000-square-foot mansion next door to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
She’s crying crocodile tears all the way to the bank.
