Mrs. Kamala Harris, reality is calling. Please pick up the courtesy line.
The former Vice President was blasted on social media Monday after posting a tribute to her failed 2024 presidential campaign, which she lost in a landslide to President Donald Trump.
Harris marked the one-year anniversary of her campaign launch with a post on X featuring photos from her 107-day run for the White House.
“One year ago today, I began my campaign for President of the United States. Over the 107 days of our race, I had the opportunity and honor to travel our nation and meet with Americans who were fighting for a better future. And today, millions of Americans continue to stand up for our values, our ideals, and our democracy. Their courage and resolve inspires me. Whether you are attending a protest, calling your representatives, or building community, I want to say: Thank you. We are in this fight together.”
The post drew immediate backlash for failing to mention President Joe Biden, who dropped out of the race and endorsed Harris shortly afterward. Critics noted Harris completely erased Biden from her campaign origin story despite owing her nomination entirely to his withdrawal.
Harris didn’t get a single vote in the 2024 Democratic primary, but was nominated as the party’s presidential nominee regardless.
Twitchy’s Amy Curtis wrote: “You didn’t get a single primary vote. How very democratic.”

Becoming the presidential nominee without getting a single vote is not the flex you think it is. https://t.co/ViWoLRsuum

Washington Free Beacon investigative reporter Chuck Ross laughed.
“lol. complete Joe Biden erasure,” Ross wrote.
Political commentator Link Lauren said: “No mention of Biden again. Really trying to erase her association with him. She was there in lockstep with that failing administration. I don’t have amnesia.”
“I wonder what caused that campaign to begin on July 21?” National Review senior writer Dan McLaughlin asked.
Lol I’m not so sure this is something to uh, celebrate.

Indeed, Harris received the Democratic nomination without earning a single vote after Biden’s unprecedented decision to withdraw from the race on July 21, 2024. Her coronation to the top of the ticket bypassed the democratic process and was slammed by the Trump campaign.
In their failed bid to win the White House, the Harris campaign blew more than $1 billion in just three months, according to Federal Election Commission filings.
The massive spending included payments to celebrity influencers, radical activist groups, renting out the Las Vegas Sphere, and private jets for campaign travel. Despite the enormous financial investment and Hollywood endorsements, Harris lost decisively to Trump in every single swing state.
Harris has told associates she expects to announce her future political plans by the end of summer, when she is expected to announce her campaign to become the governor of California.
