“On the Holmes Front” with Frank Holmes
Kamala Harris is back—and absolutely nothing has changed.
The former vice president, who led her party into a humiliating defeat less than six months ago, came out of hibernation on the 100th day of the Trump administration to say that she had exactly two solutions for her party’s future: a massive mobilization that should focus on hating Donald Trump…and loving Kamala Harris.
Harris gave what had been intended as a comeback speech in San Francisco earlier this week to bash President Trump and call on Democrats to make the country ungovernable.
In other words: An insurrection.
All the hallmarks of a Kamala Harris speech were there, beginning with her hatred of her own country. “America has never fully lived up to: its ideals, she said.
It had the word jams and unnecessary repetition: “The courage of all these Americans inspires me. And I have been inspired,” she said.
It had the word salad of meaningless phrases thrown together like a college freshman desperate to sound smart: “Understand, what we are, in fact, witnessing is a high-velocity event where a vessel is being used for the swift implementation of an agenda that has been decades in the making, an agenda to slash public educationm an agenda to shrink government and then privatize its services, all while giving tax breaks to the wealthiest among us.”
But it also had a huge appeal for the her voters to shut down the government “if Congress fails to do its part, or if the courts fail to do their part” to stop President Trump’s agenda cold in its tracks.
“If that happens,” said Kamala, “the one check, the one balance, the one power that must not fail is the voice of the people.”
She means the well-financed, Astroturf invasions of Republicans’ town hall meetings nationwide, to make it appear like Republicans hate President Trump.
She means professional protesters and paid radical activists flooding streets, campuses, and intersections like BLM at the end of the last Trump administration.
She sure sounds like she means rowdy liberals who shut down, or even burn down, neighborhoods.
Harris has big plans for herself. She still sees herself as the leader of the Democratic Party, the shining female Obama who could lead the party back to power despite failing disastrously last time out. She may decide to throw her hat in the ring to become the next governor of California since term-limits mean that Gavin Newsom cannot run for re-election. Or she may enter the 2028 Democratic presidential primaries — for her third attempt at the presidency — where polls already show her the leading figure.
But Kamala’s future presidential aspirations will probably fail as badly as all her past ones have. But her calls to whip up the Resistance 2.0 is going to have long-lasting effects that could impact your city or town.
The Left keeps wishing, and seems to be on the verge of convincing itself, that it actually leads some kind of national “Hate Trump” movement.
The left-wing website Vox claims “Trump is losing” in his first 100 days, because of “American society’s willingness to fight: its sense that resistance is not only feasible but necessary.” Somehow, despite its huge success, Vox felt the need to stir up its readers to do more, telling them President Trump’s alleged “weakness can be exploited — but that depends solely on American society’s commitment to doing so.”
CNN claims the second Trump administration has turned the whole country into an “American Battleground” in a story on the far-Left’s “Resistance and revenge in 100 days of Trump.”
What was the Left’s massive act of “revenge” over the crime of President Trump getting democratically elected president? Flying a poorly designed balloon of President Trump as an angry baby holding a cell phone.

Where else has the Left spent its political capital? When President Trump fired the former head of the FBI’s New York office, James Dennehy, left-wing Resistance protesters decided to hail Dennehy by throwing a small parade complete with a send off played on the Scottish bagpipes.
Dennehy, according to reports, was the man who refused to release the Jeffrey Epstein files, including his client list of well-connected politicians and celebrities who violated and molested young teenage girls on his private island.
Defending a man complicit in child molestation? If they keep up this record, the next thing you know Democratic senators will beg President Trump to return deported MS-13 terrorists to the United States!
The head of the FBI NY Office, James Dennehy, was given a bagpipe send-off after he was forced to resign. After President Trump's victory, he sent an email urging resistance to "dig in."
He is allegedly accountable for concealing the Epstein files.

Actually, Harris singled out Sen. Chris Van Hollen, D-Md.—the senator who traveled to El Salvador to try to work out the “Maryland Man” and MS-13 terrorist’s release from prison—for praise at the very top of a long list of left-wing rabble-rousers and instigators, including Congresswomen Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jasmine Crockett, and Sen. Bernie Sanders.
Kamala Harris has learned nothing from her loss—but she learned a lot from Biden’s victory. Make cities angry and violent, set them ablaze, declare them neutral “zones” controlled by socialist activists, and Americans will get sick of whomever is president.
This time, she’s starting four years early.
