Judge declares mistrial in Freddie Gray case

A Baltimore judge says there is a hung jury and declared a mistrial in the case of a police officer charged in the death of Freddie Gray.

Circuit Judge Barry Williams announced today that the jury couldn’t reach its decision after three days of deliberations in the manslaughter trial of William Porter.

He was the first of six officers to stand trial on charges stemming from Gray’s arrest and death. The judge told the jurors they had “clearly been diligent” before he dismissed them.

As the decision was announced a handful of protesters gathered outside the courthouse.

Gray died after suffering a broken neck in a police van while handcuffed and shackled. An autopsy concluded his head was probably slammed against inside the van as the van turned a corner or stopped.

Prosecutors say Porter should have called an ambulance when Gray indicated he needed medical help, and should have buckled Gray’s seat belt.

Porter testified Gray didn’t seem hurt. He says he told the driver and a supervisor Gray wanted to go to a hospital.

The Associated Press contributed to this story.

GOOD! Did any side bring up the guy who was in the van with this thug and told the media that Gray was banging his head and thrashing around BEFORE he was injured? Funny, I watched the video of his statement and read the news, until it media removed it from public consumption. However, it’s been embedded in several other places where honest news still exists. Look for it.

Change “BEFORE he was injured” to BEFORE INJURING HIMSELF.

And now the fourth potential son of our B. Hussein Obama’s is Gray who had an ample arrest record. He had been arrested a total of 22 times in Maryland, primarily for possession and distribution of illegal narcotics (heroin). Gray had been involved in 20 criminal court cases, five of which were still active at the time of his death. He bashed his head against the wall of the police vehicle carrying him to the police station in the hope to be transported to a hospital and thus avoiding discovery of his heroin stash and his switch blade.

I consider heroin the worst drug and Obama is marginalizing it.
