President Donald Trump has achieved so much, so fast, that even some of his bitterest enemies can’t stop themselves from praising him—and it’s driving the Left crazy.
In the biggest embarrassment to the Democratic Party since Joe Biden’s presidency, one of the party’s foremost leaders and “statesmen” has had to say three words about President Trump no Democrat is ever supposed to say: “He was right.”
At least when it comes to the U.S.-Mexico border, Kerry is joining up with the Trump MAGA movement — and called out former President Joe Biden loyalists.
Former Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry felt so ashamed, he only spoke them to foreign media—but The Horn got all the details.
Kerry sang the praises on President Trump’s undeniably masterful performance in closing the border.
“I said this very directly to President Biden,” said Kerry: “The Democrats have missed on the issue of immigration.”
“They just allowed the border to be under siege,” said Kerry, who served five terms in the U.S. Senate, four of them with Joe Biden. “I wish President Biden had been heard more often saying, ‘I’m going to enforce the law.’”
“The first thing any president should say—any president, or anybody in public life—is, ‘Without a border protected, you don’t have a nation.’ You have to have a border that means something,” Kerry told correspondent James Naughtie, host of the Reflections podcast.
Naughtie wasn’t happy about the turn the conversation was taking, pointing out that, if President Trump heard him, he would brag, “I was right all along—that’s what he’d say.”
But Kerry couldn’t stand up for his party’s negligence on the border.
“He was right,” admitted Kerry. “The problem is we all should have been right. Everybody should have been right, doing the same thing, all moving in the same direction.”
Then he railed on his Democratic colleagues again: “They just allowed the border to continue to be sieged, under siege,” Kerry told the British news service.
The 2004 presidential hopeful’s attempt to hide his words in a foreign podcast didn’t work—but, for a few reasons, he humiliated his party more deeply than even he could have possibly known.

Kerry is no run-of-the-mill Democrat, or even a former presidential candidate: He served as a top advisor to the last two Democratic presidents. Kerry was secretary of state for Barack Obama (although it seems like Biden outsourced Ukraine policy to his son, Hunter). Then Kerry worked as a special “climate envoy” in the Biden-Harris administration.
In so many words, he’s admitting the last two administrations—which he served—totally screwed up.
It’s not clear what else Kerry could have said: The Biden administration allowed at least 10 million illegal aliens to cross the border in just four year. As The Horn told you exclusively, one border expert puts the number of illegal border entries under Biden at an unbelievable 30 million.
President Trump stopped facilitating human traffickers, and illegal border crossings fell by 98.65 percent in his first month.
The contrast was unquestionable—and
Still, Kerry’s comments crushed the facade that Democrats and it couldn’t come at a worse time.
The Democratic Party has gotten rocked by polls showing voters have never seen the party in a worse light—and another poll just dropped.
The poll—which was conducted by a Democratic super PAC called Unite the Country—found that voters in 21 battleground counties and 10 battelground states described the Democratic Party as “Woke” and “weak.”
That follows a poll showing that only about one in three (35 percent) of Democrats feel optimistic about the party’s future, from AP-NORC.
No wonder Democratic leaders are suddenly worried about becoming America’s permanent, second-place party.
Continuing to focus all its energy on bashing Presiden Donald Trump and calling him a fascist is “not going to build lasting majorities,” said Angie Craig, a Democratic state representative in Minnesota who is running for a state senate seat in next year’s midterms.
“If we don’t build this big-tent party that can win majorities, we’re on the path of being the party of the permanent minority from a national-election perspective,” Craig told The New York Times.
Craig is trying to get the Demcoratic Party to focus on its own survival, but maybe they should ask themselves a different question: Why shouldn’t voters make the Democratic Party a permanent minority party? What have Democrats done, or even tried to do, for American voters in the last 25 years?
The party has so neglected its most basic responsibility to U.S. citizens that even a former presidential candidate is throwing the donkey under the bus.
John Kerry’s words prove President Trump was right about something else, too: When it comes to securing the border, it turns out, “all we needed was another president.”
