Yet another Biden official has walked away from the justice system easily, receiving a feather-light sentence after admitting he committed a serious felony. Republican foes say the plea bargain agreement is a clear case of a “justice” system that favors Democrats, thanks to rampant political bias.
To make matters worse, the official was no low-ranking paper-pusher.
Sam Brinton, the lipstick-smeared cross-dresser tapped by President Joe Biden to oversee America’s nuclear arsenal, got a sweetheart plea deal.
Brinton, who identifies as “non-binary,” was accused of stealing luggage worth thousands of dollars at multiple airports.
Officials slapped Brinton with grand larceny for stealing a suitcase valued at more than $3,600 from the Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas and a Vera Bradley suitcase worth an estimated $2,325 at the the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
Brinton faced a $10,000 fine and 10 years in prison for the Las Vegas heist, which was a felony charge… but that’s not what he got.
Brinton received zero jail time and a light fine.
Prosecutors in the blue state of Minnesota served up a sweetheart plea bargain to Brinton, the Biden official, who showed up to court dressed as a man.

Brinton was allowed to enter a “no contest” plea to a misdemeanor charge in exchange for paying restitution in the amount of $3,670.74 and an additional fine of $500.
The plea deal seemed unusual, since a misdemeanor charge only applies if the item stolen is worth $1,200 or less — but for some reason the Biden official qualified.
It’s an even bigger slap in the face to police, who say Brinton lied about stealing the suitcase… until they revealed they had security camera footage showing Brinton’s unmistakable face rolling the suitcase off the airport luggage return.
The fact that Brinton sashayed away scot-free left Republicans seeing red.
“Biden’s gender-fluid nuclear expert, Sam Brinton, won’t be getting any jail time for his luggage thefts,” said Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo. “If that was someone not involved with this crooked administration, it’s hard to imagine they’d have the same outcome.”
“All dressed up, nowhere to go,” replied Fox News host Sean Hannity.
“No jail time! What a joke,” said Montana talk show host Aaron Flint.

Biden tapped Brinton to work as the Energy Department’s deputy assistant secretary of the Office of Spent Fuel and Waste Disposition.
But Biden fired Brinton last December after news of his thefts went public.
“Was Brinton hired for his incredible knowledge base and experience level? Of course, not,” recorded a writer at RedState.com. “Rather, he was almost certainly hired because he checked an identity box that the administration wanted to have to brag about.”
“Do you suppose you could commit felony theft and not spend a day in jail? I sort of doubt it.”
Conservatives say it’s just wrong that the “justice” system is slapping Democrats on his limp wrist while they’re slapping heavy felony charges against Republicans.
For instance, Soros-funded New York City District Attorney Alvin Bragg charged President Donald Trump with a felony for an alleged campaign finance violation. Republicans say the actual charge was a misdemeanor that passed the statute of limitations years ago.
“Sam Brinton commits a felony, gets it written off as a misdemeanor. Trump allegedly commits a misdemeanor that they turned into a felony,” wrote RedState’s Brandon Morse. “We live in a two-tiered justice system.”
Conservatives point out that another Republican, Douglass Mackey, could get 10 years in prison for being funny.
In 2016, he created a meme that joshed Democrats that they could vote for Hillary Clinton by text message.

Many of the people who actually texted the number in his meme texted the words, “Hillary for Prison”—not the words of a confused Democrat voter.
The Minnesota luggage caper is the first of a one-two punch of court dates for thievery for Brinton. He’s also accused of stealing a bag that belonged to Texas-based fashion designer Asya Idarous Khamsin, a native of Tanzania.
“The Texas-based fashion designer went on to share how the lost luggage caused her to miss a show and let down my people,’” wrote Tristan Justice at The Federalist. “Mackey, on the other hand, is faced with a decade in prison over an online joke.”
Brinton faces five years in jail and a $10,000 fine for the Nevada rip-off—but if the Minnesota ruling sets any precedent, he’ll slide by with much less.
Brinton’s plea bargain proves Democratic privilege is real, Republicans say.
