Joe Biden takes his revenge on Kamala Harris

“On the Holmes Front” with Frank Holmes

Joe Biden is boiling mad—and you can’t blame him: He’s no longer president of the United States, and he didn’t even lose an election.

He was purged from power by members of his own Democratic Party and replaced by Kamala Harris…and the two have had a frosty relationship ever since.

But now that the former vice president is selling a memoir about her campaign, 107 Days, the icy stares could turn into red-hot anger, because D.C. insiders say the 46th president has big plans for revenge. Biden and his family believe they could have won the 2024 election—or, at least, they couldn’t have done any worse than Kamala Harris did.

But Kamala, who wants to run again in 2028, may feel tempted to blame the failure of her 107-day-long campaign on Biden and his family. And if she does, Joe Biden is ready.

“If the Biden people decide that Kamala Harris is coming after Joe Biden, wait till you hear the Palinesque stories about how much they tried to help her be prepared to be vice president and be in a position to run — and how much they decided :(It’s) not happening, she’s not up to this,’” said Mark Halperin, a veteran D.C. reporter and insider. “If the Biden people feel threatened, you will hear stories about Kamala Harris as vice president that will not make her look good.”

Halperin told a podcast called The Morning Meeting, along with former Trump White House spokesman Sean Spicer and Democratic advisor Dan Turrentine, that the Biden family will smear Kamala Harris until she looks worse than Sarah Palin.

“If Joe Biden feels threatened, if his people feel threatened by her, this is going to escalate in a big way. And she will have a hard time defending against the stories if that dam bursts,” he said. “They were extraordinary in trying to help her do the job of vice president. They gave her every opportunity. And they found in some instances that she had some issues.”

🚨NEW: @MarkHalperin reports Biden team has *DIRT* to drop on Kamala Harris if she attacks him🚨

It wasn’t the first indication of bad blood between the Bidens and the Harris campaign since Donald Trump returned to office.

Kamala Harris came under mild fire just last month from Hunter Biden, between bumps, during a recording of the At Our Table podcast hosted by former DNC leader Jaime Harrison.

“Harris, Hunter Biden implied, did not have the same draw with the American electorate as his father did,” reported the Daily Mail.

And embarrassing details continue to flood the media.

One of them comes from a Harris campaign adviser, Maria Comella, who said she warned Harris about every pitfall she fell into during the campaign of “joy.”

Her memos to Harris campaign manager Jen O’Malley Dillon, reported in the new book 2024: How Trump Retook the White House and the Democrats Lost America. show that she told the campaign to do something to stamp out fentanyl overdoses—and not to campaign for working people’s votes by touting celebrities like Oprah Winfrey.

“Celebrities and never-Trump supporters have the opposite effect with these audiences,” she wrote.

She also advised that Harris should “create clear daylight/differentiation between a Harris and Biden administration, “pointing out the real ways Joe Biden had screwed up while in office.

But the Biden and Harris camps spent their entire time in office leaking poison pen memos against each other.

Just six months into the Biden-Harris administration, in July 2021, Axios reported Joe Biden’s team was concerned about about “a gusher of leaks about dysfunction and infighting in” Kamala Harris’ office.

Others with knowledge of the events say that, when his mental decline began to show, Joe Biden used Kamala Harris as his “Get-Out-Of-The-25th-Amendment-Free” card.

An inside source told Jonathan Allen and The Hill reporter Amie Parnes in their book, Fight: Inside the Wildest Battle for the White House that Joe Biden’s “last threat, the ace in the hole, was Kamala Harris. Even if Biden did drop out and you got your dreamed-up open convention, you would only succeed in nominating the vice-president. Is that what you want? You want her? Look at her polling. No one wants her. Forget it. It’s never gonna happen.”

But the donors eventually sided with Kamala.

“Well, at least she has a pulse,” said one veteran source cultivated by the authors.

Of course, Republicans who destroy Republicans get rewarded—look at what happened to the people who poisoned Americans against former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin.

Nicolle Wallace, who smeared Palin through leaks during the 2008 campaign and then in public afterwards, did her job so well she now hosts her own, two-hour-long show on MSNBC every weekday afternoon.

When conservative filmmaker John Zeigler charged that Washington Post “conservative” columnist Kathleen Parker “took part in the assassination of Sarah Palin,” Parker puffed, “I did not take part in it. I led it. OK?”

In return, Kathleen Parker got a low-rated, short-lived CNN talk show, Parker Spitzer, which lasted four months in 2010-2011.

Even Palin’s onetime critics admitted the RINO establishment went too far. “The people working for my father’s campaign really, you know, in my opinion, treated her really horribly, set her up for failure,” said Meghan McCain in 2021–a full 13 years after her father’s presidential campaign.

Kamala Harris spent four years stabbing Joe Biden in the back, and it worked. She got the nomination—but blew the presidential election, anyway.

If she keeps blaming Biden for her loss, she may find out revenge is a dish best served cold.
