Jasmine Crockett just had a nasty temper tantrum over this…

Texas Rep. Jasmine Crockett is a rising star in the Democratic Party. Her combative exchanges with conservative lawmakers have earned her a loyal following on social media.

But when the normally friendly mainstream media recently dared to question her, she reportedly threw a temper tantrum and attempted to censor the article.

According to reports, Crockett attempted to shut down a profile piece in The Atlantic after a reporter reached out to several of her Democrat colleagues about Crockett’s unpopularity among liberal lawmakers.

Atlantic staff writer Elaine Godfrey claimed Crockett called her four days before the piece was published “to express frustration that I had reached out to so many House members without telling her first.”

“As for her colleagues, four days before this story was published, Crockett called me to express frustration that I had reached out to so many House members without telling her first. She was, she told me, ‘shutting down the profile and revoking all permissions,'” Godfrey wrote.

Crockett furious response caused widespread condemnation from the normally friendly media.

NBC News political reporter Sahil Kapur wrote, “That is not how any of this works.” Reporter Jim Stinson commented, “Rep. Jasmine Crockett believes she can shut down a journalism profile. That’s how dumb she is.” Crooked Media podcast host Jane Coaston wrote, “if you are being profiled someone is going to reach out to other people about your profile, that’s how profiles work.”

For the profile itself, Godfrey contacted up to 33 Democrats for what should have been a glowing puff piece about Crockett being “a Democrat for the Trump era.”

Instead, most didn’t respond or refused to comment 0n the record.

“Thirteen of her colleagues on the Oversight and Judiciary committees, along with 20 other Democratic members I contacted for this story, either declined to talk with me on the record or didn’t respond to my interview requests,” Godfrey wrote.

The few who did respond painted an ugly picture. Senior staffers for three Democratic members said that “Crockett’s colleagues see her as undisciplined but are reluctant to criticize her publicly.”

“She likes to talk. Is she a loose cannon? Sometimes. Does that cause headaches for other members? 100 percent,” one staffer reportedly told Godfrey.

The profile also revealed details about Crockett’s narcissism and self-obsession. The congresswoman has a headshot of herself as her phone lock screen and believed she deserved to become the top Democrat on the House Oversight Committee simply because she has the “largest social media following.”

Crockett complained that colleagues “won’t even send me a text back” and was surprised she wasn’t handed the job based on her social media metrics. “It’s like, there’s one clear person in the race that has the largest social-media following,” Crockett complained.

Additionally, Crockett appears to have lied about a key story about suffering “hate crimes.” She claimed that after receiving “racist threats” at Rhodes College, a black female attorney from the Cochran Firm became her “shero” [she hero] after representing her — but Crockett couldn’t remember the name of this supposed hero. When Godfrey tracked down the alleged attorney, “She remembered the incident in broad terms but was not sure if she had worked on the case or with Crockett.”

Furthermore, “Rhodes College had no specific records of the incident.”

In 2019 Jasmine Crockett claimed that being the victim of a hate crime led to her becoming a lawyer.

Now that she wants to run for President, she updated to a new fake story of why she became a lawyer.

It’s all BS. She’s a delusional fraud.pic.twitter.com/XRrbxqtKAo

Godfrey’s final assessment was damning: “Crockett does not have supporters so much as she has admirers.”

No wonder Crockett threw such a temper tantrum.
