Iran targets 18 U.S. companies in disturbing, online “hit list”

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has come forward with how it will retaliate against American military strikes.

They plan to come after and target American tech companies.

In a statement published by Tasnim News Agency, one of the Islamic Republic’s state media agencies, the IRGC claimed the companies were “involved in terrorist operations” against Iran.

The statement listed 18 companies, including Tesla, Palantir, and Microsoft.

“The main institutions involved in terrorist operations will be legitimate targets for our operations,” a translated version of the statement posted on X reads.

“We advise the employees of these institutions to immediately distance themselves from their workplaces to preserve their lives.”

An additional post completed the list of “targets,” adding that the companies should expect “destruction of their respective units in exchange for each terror act in Iran, starting from 8 PM Tehran time on Wednesday, April 1st.”

The Islamic Republic has already targeted American companies in the Iran war.

They have launched drone strikes against multiple Amazon Web Services facilities in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) shortly after the Iran war began, triggering major outages in the region.

Big Tech firms have announced major investments in the Middle East in recent years.

Major tech firms like NVIDIA, Cisco, and Oracle — which are all listed as targets by the IRGC — announced a partnership with OpenAI in May 2025 to help build an artificial intelligence (AI) “campus” in the UAE.

Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Oracle have also said they will invest tens of billions of dollars in the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
