Federal prosecutors in Delaware have been investigating the “tax affairs” of controversial first son Hunter Biden, according to a CBS News interview from 2020 with the president’s son himself.
The grand jury convened this week, and it’s been hearing testimony from some surprising sources: Hunter Biden’s ex-girlfriends.
Witnesses reportedly include lingerie entrepreneur Zoe Kestan and Lunden Roberts, a mother to one of Hunter’s children.
Kestan testified on Tuesday for nearly five hours, a source familiar with the testimony told the New York Post.
She used to frequent ATMs to withdraw “thousands of dollars at a time” for Hunter Biden, according to this source’s account of Kestan’s testimony.
She also took cash from Biden to pay for clothes and food without any clue as to the origins of the money, the source told the NY Post.
Kestan received tabloid attention for her Instagram posts featuring lingerie. According to the sourcing for the NY Post, she took the stand right after Lunden Roberts.
Roberts appeared to be leaving a federal courthouse in Wilmington in a photograph by The Daily Mail. However, she declined to speak with the Mail.
Roberts has battled Hunter Biden in court before. She successfully sued him for child support in 2019.
Neither Hunter Biden nor the federal prosecutor returned the NY Post’s requests for comment, and Kestan declined to comment.
It remains unclear which of Hunter Biden’s business dealings have come under the feds’ attention. There are so many to choose from.
Still, the president’s son may face legal trouble not only because of his “tax affairs,” but also because of his extramarital affairs. The women of his past are coming back to haunt him.
The heart is a lonely Hunter, after all.
