Hunter Biden jailed over missing child support payments..!?

Former first son Hunter Biden is facing jail for being a deadbeat dad, according to reports from Arkansas.

The mother of Hunter’s 6-year-old daughter asked an judge Tuesday to have him arrested for failing to pay his court-ordered child support agreement.

Lunden Roberts, 34, filed a motion with Independence County Circuit Court requesting that Hunter Biden be held in contempt of court and jailed for failing to pay the $5,000 monthly child support payments he agreed to in 2023.

Roberts asked Judge Holly Meyer to “incarcerate him in the Independence County Detention Center as a civil penalty until he purges his contempt by complying with this court’s orders.”

Hunter, 55, has a daughter named Navy Joan Roberts with Lunden Roberts, a former Washington, D.C. stripper. The child was born in Arkansas in August 2018. Hunter initially denied paternity but a DNA test confirmed “with scientific certainty” that he was the father.

The Biden family has been heavily criticized for ignoring Navy.

The current dispute stems from a 2023 settlement in which Roberts agreed to lower Hunter Biden’s child support payments from $20,000 per month to $5,000 per month. As part of that agreement, Hunter Biden was supposed to meet his daughter Navy Joan and allow her to select paintings from his art collection.

In her Tuesday filing, Roberts claimed Hunter has repeatedly missed child support payments and still has refused to met his daughter.

Failure to pay court-ordered child support is a criminal offense in Arkansas that can result in jail time.

The case has been contentious since Roberts first filed a paternity claim against Hunter in May 2019.

After a DNA test established paternity in November 2019, Hunter Biden agreed in 2020 to pay monthly child support of $20,000 to Roberts, with payments retroactive to November 2018.

Hunter reopened the case in September 2022, asking the court to reduce his child support payments. He claimed financial hardship.

During a May 2023 court appearance, Hunter’s lawyers claimed he was broke. Attorney Abbe Lowell told the court that Hunter Biden had no salary, had his Porsche repossessed, and was forced to sleep on a cot in his father’s room during a presidential trip to Dublin.

“Mr. Biden claims to be nothing more than a Yale-educated attorney/artist who is somewhat financially destitute and needs his child support adjusted,” Roberts’ attorney Clint Lancaster wrote in a 2023.

Hunter and Roberts later reached a settlement that reduced the monthly payments to $5,000. Under the terms of the agreement, Hunter Biden would pay monthly support until the child turns 18 and assist in setting up a college fund.

Hunter Biden was previously convicted on federal gun charges in 2024 but was pardoned by his father in December 2024 right before Joe Biden left office. The pardon covered the gun charges and separate tax crimes.
