Fox News is changing up their longtime lineup, including primetime hosts — and the changes take effect starting Saturday.
New programs hosted by Brian Kilmeade and Lawrence Jones will launch on January 29th, the cable news giant officially announced on Thursday.
The primetime change-up doesn’t just impact the weekends. According to the network, these moves are designed to take up time slots left by their recent weekday changes.
“Lawrence Jones Cross Country,” will air Saturdays at 10:00 p.m. Eastern time. Kilmeade will host his own show at 8:00 p.m, and “Unfiltered With Dan Bongino” will be moved to 9:00 p.m. Eastern.
“Lawrence has been an impact player since joining the network in 2018 and we are thrilled to add his critical insights to our weekend lineup,” Fox News CEO Suzanne Scott said in a press release. “Whether reporting from the border or diners across America to hosting primetime specials, his perspective has added depth to our programming while resonating with the audience.”
“As one of our homegrown stars, Brian has been a wildly popular mainstay for millions of Americans across multiple platforms — from our number one rated morning franchise FOX & Friends to his hit shows on FOX News Audio and FOX Nation,” Scott’s press release said. “We’re thrilled to add him to weekends to further expand his unique connection with our viewers.”
The weekend primetime shift corresponds with Fox News’ recent moves during the weekday. Jesse Waters, who previously hosted the Saturday 8:00 p.m. slot, has been moved to “Jesse Waters Primetime,” a weekday show premiering on January 24.
Jeannie Pirro, the previous host of Saturday’s 9:00 p.m. timeslot, was also recently named a permanent co-host of hit weekday show “The Five.”

The primetime moves are just the latest shakeup to hit Fox News in the past few months.
Longtime host Chris Wallace announced suddenly in early January that he was leaving his “Fox News Sunday” show for CNN.
And reports have surfaced that Fox News quietly fired star contributor and Fox Nation host Lara Logan in recent weeks.
The shakeup may be confusing for fans at first, but Kilmeade said he’s confident the changes will be for the best.
“I am truly honored that Suzanne has given me another incredible opportunity at FOX News Media,” Kilmeade said in the press release. “My ultimate goal is to create a program that will always seek solutions rather than sow division.”
