“On the Holmes Front,” with Frank Holmes
After almost two full years of waiting, House conservatives have pulled the trigger by filing articles of impeachment against the Biden administration…and the chance they’ll succeed looks stronger than ever.
Before moving up to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, House Republicans are focusing on the man responsible for the chaos, drug-trafficking, and human smuggling taking place at America’s open border: Department of Homeland Security chief Alejandro Mayorkas.
“The utter disregard for American life displayed by Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas can no longer be ignored. The time for more hearings and phases is over,” said Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., on Thursday. “That’s why I just introduced privileged Articles to IMPEACH Secretary Mayorkas.”
BREAKING: I just filed privileged Articles of Impeachment on Secretary Mayorkas.
Yesterday, two Americans from my district in Dalton, GA were killed in a high-speed head-on collision at the hands of human traffickers smuggling illegal aliens into this country.

Her bill says Mayorkas has committed high crimes and misdemeanors through negligently letting gangs and cartels overwhelm the southern border—often telling U.S. forces to stand down, shut up, and speed up the processing of illegals into the U.S.
“The Secure Fence Act of 2006 (Public Law 109–367) requires that the Secretary of Homeland Security ‘maintain operational control over the entire international land and maritime borders of the United States,’” her bill states.
“In his willful admittance of border crossers, terrorists, human traffickers, drugs, and other contraband, Alejandro Nicholas Mayorkas has failed to maintain operational control of the border, thereby violating the Secure Fence Act of 2006.”
House Republicans have threatened to impeach Mayorkas—who has admitted 10 million illegals into the U.S. during the Biden administration—before…but Greene has added fire no other Republican ever had.
Impeaching Mayorkas is personal for her.
🚨 BREAKING: @RepMTG introduces articles of impeachment against Alejandro Mayorkas

On Wednesday, a human smuggler hauling a vehicle full of illegal aliens fleeing a Texas sheriff tried to pass an 18-wheeler truck in a no-passing zone and smashed into an SUV, killing its two passengers.
The victims were constituents of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene.
“They had 5 kids who will never get to say goodbye,” Grene said on the floor of the House, as she introduced the impeachment articles. “Americans are getting murdered just traveling to see their families. Lives have been lost forever.”
Constituents in MTG’s rural Georgia House district aren’t the only ones to suffer the violent effects of Biden’s busted border, even hundreds of miles from the Rio Grande.
In Tennessee, authorities arrested an illegal alien from Honduras who belonged to the Sur 13 gang, for committing two murders.
In New Jersey, ICE arrested an illegal alien from Mexico for sexually endangering a child.
In Maryland, officials arrested a member of MS-13 five separate times, for trespassing, assault, and domestic violence. His most recent arrest was for DUI.
“Everyone should care,” said Greene. “This is not a political issue.”
But impeachment has been used as a political tool in the recent past.
Two congressmen—Reps. Andy Biggs, R-Ariz., and Pat Fallon, R-,Texas—took him at his word and introduced articles of impeachment against Mayorkas…but they only got a few dozen Republican co-sponsors.
By February, conservatives had to admit it looked like Mayorkas would skate.
“We don’t have the votes,” said Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla. “I don’t think we’re close to having the votes.”
What happened? Then-Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy ordered two House committees to hold hearings on Mayorkas’ handling of the border…and they didn’t go well for the president. Why did the efforts fail?
McCarthy never whipped the votes—he called the hearings just for show.
House conservatives specifically mentioned McCarthy’s failure to impeach Mayorkas, or keep many of his other promises, when they voted to vacate the chair and elect a new Speaker of the House: the conservative Mike Johnson of Louisiana.
Just a few weeks under new management, impeachment is moving forward—and this may just be the beginning. Marjorie Taylor Greene set her sights higher: She wants to impeach Joe Biden.
Rep. Andy Ogles, R-Tenn., filed articles of impeachment against Biden in June So have two other Members of Congress..
But Greene’s articles of impeachment mention that Biden violated the Constitution by not controlling the southern border.
That may be why Biden is trying to cover his tracks with a whopping $106 billion aid package to Israel, Ukraine, and Taiwan — which also includes billions for “the U.S. border.” The problem is, the money doesn’t close the border; it throws it wide open by speeding up the government’s processing and release of the illegals it catches.
Marjorie Taylor Greene won’t be fooled. She’s full of fire, righteously angry over illegals killing her voters, and unwilling to take no for an answer.
Mayorkas is up first.
Biden and Harris may follow.
