It’s an uncomfortable fact that politicians aren’t talking about and that many in the mainstream media seem willing to ignore.
Bloody incidents of American Muslims enforcing Sharia Law seem to be growing in regularity in pockets all across the country.
In November, a 53-year-old man was arrested for viciously attacking a teenage girl in public, allegedly dragging the young lady out of school by her hair and slapping her repeatedly. Then, he pulled her into his car and drove off.
The violent incident was all because the 14-year-old girl wasn’t wearing a “hijab,” the headscarf Muslim women are forced to wear under Sharia – aka Islamic – law, according to police.
This didn’t happen in Pakistan, Afghanistan or Saudi Arabia. It happened right in Columbia, Missouri.
Officer Latisha Stroer told the Columbia Daily Tribune, a local newspaper, that Youssif Z. Omar grabbed his 14-year-old relative “very violently by the hair” and pulled her down a flight of stairs.
Omar is an immigrant whose online resume says he hails from Benghazi, Libya.
Unsurprisingly, the left-wing media won’t touch this story. They’re pretending it didn’t happen, as if it were an isolated incident. Anything to fit their politically correct narrative about the “religion of peace.”
But this attack in Missouri is far from isolated. Instead, it exposes the ugly truth about the dark side of Islam and the extremist element hiding in plain sight among the “immigrants” and “refugees” being brought into the United States.
A government-commissioned report from Westat found evidence of roughly two dozen Islamic “honor killings” in the United States every year. Nearly all involve minor girls who are “too Westernized.”
And nearly all of those honor killings involve the father.
In addition to the killings, the report says there are even more examples of physical and emotional abuse as well as forced marriages.
In other words, Sharia Law is here in America — right now.
And it’s far from isolated.
A poll of American Muslims released over the summer found that more than half believe they should be governed under Sharia law instead of local ordinances.
More than half also said they should be given the choice of being tried in their own Sharia courts instead of American courts.
Disturbingly, those were just the ones willing to admit it to a stranger doing a telephone survey. The true levels of support for Sharia in America may be even higher among Muslims living in this country.
The media won’t talk about any of this, and is ready to openly mock anyone who raises concerns over the spread of Sharia Law as if the very idea were ridiculous.
But Sharia is clearly here, right now, and it’s trying to grow.
