Hillary Clinton drops “loneliness” bombshell

Twice failed Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton said she knows why voters didn’t elect her: They’re lonely people.

According to a recent interview, Hillary said that to defeat former President Donald Trump, Democrats need to address an epidemic of loneliness.

She told daytalk show host Kelly Clarkson there’s “a lot of evidence people are lonelier than ever, and part of that is coming out of COVID [lockdowns]” and said Republicans are taking advantage of those who are lonely.

Hillary has pity for the socially undesirable “army” — a smear of tens of millions of regular Americans simply for rejecting her elitist politics.

Hillary’s original claim about loneliness fueling Republican Party victories at the ballot box came in a 2023 article for The Atlantic.

Of course, her claims about loneliness being “weaponized” against her and her fellow Democrats are contradicted by ample data showing the Democratic Party remains the party of disconnected urbanites and coastal elites.

Republicans consistently win over rooted, married-with-family middle Americans — the types Republicans like to call “normal.”

The Washington Examiner’s Conn Carroll noted that nowhere in Hillary’s 3,500-word article did she mention the decline in marriage and the nuclear family.

Maybe Clinton just doesn’t know how radically the family has fallen apart in the last 50 years. From the first census of the United States to 1960, about 80% of all households were led by a married couple. That percentage started falling in the 1960s, accelerated in the ’70s, and fell below 50% in 2010. Now just 45% of all households include a married couple. Meanwhile the percentage of people living alone has never been higher.

But such impolite realities are conveniently ignored by Hillary.

From Russian hackers to “deplorables” to now lonely MAGA Republicans, Hillary seems to blame everyone — but resides in an insular bubble where traditional Americans embracing self-sufficiency, faith, and family are just backwards “bitter clingers” that need to be delivered into progressive bureaucrat-controlled conformity.

No thanks. We’d rather be “lonely” with our families and churches.
