That’s what top insider and Hillary confidante Neera Tanden told CNN following The Horn News report Thursday that the failed Democratic presidential candidate was eyeing a run at New York City’s mayoral position.
“I don’t expect her to ever run for any elected office again,” Tanden said.
A public figure for decades, Hillary has been uncharacteristically silent after losing to President-elect Donald Trump in November — and it has led to widespread speculation on what her next move would be.
So what’s next for Hillary?
“What she’s thinking about right now is how to help those kids and families as she has her whole life,” Tanden told host Jake Tapper on CNN’s “State of the Union” Sunday.
Could that be a hint to Chelsea Clinton’s rumored New York Senate run, which insiders revealed to be in the works?
