Indiana Gov. Mike Pence didn’t just win last night’s vice presidential debate. He trounced former Virginia Gov. Tim Kaine so badly, it’s shaken the very base of Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
With a little over four weeks until the election that polls show is neck-and-neck, it’s exactly the kind of slip-up the former of secretary of state can’t afford if she hopes to win against Republican candidate Donald Trump.
According to a CNN poll comprised almost entirely of Democrat voters, Pence still won the Tuesday debate by an impressive six points.
In other words, it wasn’t even that close – and Clinton’s already shaky base is admitting it.
But it gets worse for the Clinton campaign. According to the poll, “29% of debate watchers said what they saw Tuesday made them more apt to vote for Trump, compared with 18% who said it made them more likely to back Clinton.”
Pence won so big, a statistically significant amount of voters – mostly Democrats — are considering jumping ship and backing Trump.

Other live polls agreed with CNN’s assessment. Pence scored big across the board, while Kaine’s desperate interruptions — 70 in total — and prepackaged zingers turned off voters.

Kaine came across as a person who forgot to take his meds. He made me nervous just watching him. Kaine, like HIllary, keep bring up that Donald Trump has paid no federal income taxes but they do not accuse him of violating the Federal Income Tax Laws. According to Forbes on-line site, dated 21 November 2015, Hillary and Bill on the other hand failed to report all income for 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 for these so call speeches they make, which means the Federal Government did not have their tax dollars to support the Veterans or the miltary; therefore, they had to refile their taxes. Failure to claim all legal and illegal income, except that which is exempt by law, is a violation of the Federal Income Tax Laws and is considered income tax evasion.
Hillary and Kaine keep harping on Donald Trump using the income tax laws to avoid paying taxes. I also use the income tax laws to get my taxes down as low as possible; and so do all the businesses in the US. So is seems crooked Hillary and nervous Kaine are planning on changing the federal income tax laws to prohibit companies from writing off business losses on their income taxes; however, the two have not said this but imply it whenever criticizing Donald Trump for writing off business losses on his tax returns.
Hillary took the 700.000 and put it into her foundation so she could claim bankruptcy. So how can you claim for a loss. She and her husband pulled a fast one.
Pence was organized, respectful of his opponent and extremely tolerant of Kaine’s constant interruptions. The “moderator” had absolutely no control of the debate and was biased against Pence.
The news media has always been biased against Trump. Why should I trust the news media? Wh can’t they keep their opinions and emotions intact while the candidates the issues. There only needs to be the top three issues concerning America and let the candidates have more time to explain their plan, concerns, non concerns to the American people. I was really impressed with Gov. Pence. He got an A+ in my book! In spite of Kaine’s interruptions—70 was mentioned above—he kept his cool. And he did a good job in answering the questions. I hope he can teach Trump some good lessons! We will be very fortunate if he is our vice president!!!

I stayed with debate until the last 15-minutes. Moderator was biased against Pence, I had enough. Pence hammering Hillary with foreign donations, and he was “cut off” by moderator. Pathetic !
I lasted 15- minutes to. For the short time I watched I saw little difference between the moderators of the debates. I wouldn’t want Kaine as our dog catcher.
Something I thought was strange was something Kaine kept doing with his eye brows. After Pence would talk for about 15 or 30 seconds, kain would raise his brows while looking directly at the moderator. It was like a cue for her to interrupt Pence. When she didn’t interrupt quickly, he would just start talking over Pence. Such rudeness is unparalleled in my experiences watching debates.

I watched and I was very proud of Pence. I wanted to tell Kaine to shut up many times. I knew Trump had sense enough to pick the right people and he did a great job picking Pence. I feel good about the person that would be next in line if anything happened to Trump. I also agree with Pence about abortion. We can’t be true Christians and kill babies but we have to adopt or help to get adopted as many unwanted babies as possible as quickly as possible. Government should not ever even think about paying for abortions with anybody’s tax dollars. If a woman is given the right to choose then she is also given the right to figure out how to pay for her abortion. Her and her lover can figure out how to take on 2nd jobs to pay for their actions.

If you want care or a procedure that is not essential, the taxpayer should not be charged for it – nor for insurance that covers non-essential procedures undertaken because the recipient wants them, not because they are necessary.
If someone chooses to be sexually active and not consider protection, then why should we be expected to pay for their consequences of illicit behavior. It is their problem not ours. Who pays for my mistakes? ME

If the polls are neck in neck it’s because illegal aliens and their friends in Latin America are voting in the polls, who is fooling who? It is these segments of our society that Trump must return to and modify his views, and he must mollify those crucial segments of our society. It is true that Trump is no politician; that’s why he gained all the support during the primaries. Still, he cannot simply shoot from the hip now. We Americans are looking for the person who will convince us of the best means for leadership to offer in order for our country to begin a renewal of our economy, military and social issues.
This means that Trump must be precise in steps he will advance to: lower our debt, increase our GNP, lower taxes in certain brackets; change our damaged welfare system, foremost the ACA; offer the dignity of work to replace welfare; strengthen our military without articulating threats abroad; find an international, i.e., UN-led, solution to the M.E. miasma; establish open dialogue with both Russia and China; advance the truth about what abortion implies;deny public funding for abortion; advance the truth about what same-sex unions imply; advance the truth about what teens are allowed to purchase at pharmacies; concentrate efforts for the enforcement of fatherhood implications; encourage term limits.
These are the major issues our citizens are aware of and are concerned with. Let the candidates articulate their views but also their proposed solutions. This is the time when they must take a stand so that we may all judge objectively about which program will best serve our country and ITS needs, not about which candidate best serves MY needs.

I am SO glad I wasn’t the only one who was shouting at Kaine during last night’s debate. I could not believe how rude, smug and arrogant he was! And how the moderator did NOTHING to stop his constant interruptions. At one point he accused Pence of not defending Trump and when Pence started to answer he kept interrupting him!! Pence was a gentleman and presented a very strong case why we need a big change in this thing we call “OUR” government. So many times when he was speaking, he was stopped by the moderator who wanted to foist her next agenda. She was clearly biased and unfair! What a MESS this country will be if Clinton & Kaine actually convince the American people that THEY are honest & trustworthy (what a joke) and are the best choice!!

kain reminded me when I was in school, I use to stayed up until 2 Am to memorized for exam. I stopped watching when the son of Kaine compared Hillary’s foundation to Trump’s businesses and tried to berate the success of making money from a business for PROFIT. The comparison was utterly ridiculous. And the tax returns are a very foolish argument. Who cares what Trump pulled as personal income from his businesses? He will just state his income, state his deductions particularly the itemized ones including his charitable contributions and if the result is a zero for tax liability his accountants did a good job. You want his net worth, ask for his financial statements, the compilation of all would be appropriate. Otherwise the taxes at the personal level are a simple thing without a doubt. Being a retired CPA, I can assure you nothing here of any real significance or consequence and if it is under audit currently you can see em later, they might change.
Now on the other hand, did you all notice Hillary gave only to her foundation and her support company? Interesting, nothing to other charities. What a wonderful person, NOT! And I wonder how much of the foreign money her foundation took in was filtered to her? That organization needs a real good audit. I can only imagine what is lurking in those books. I would love to be on the team to open those accounts up and track it all from its end to its beginning. And if it was done in the dark, a good auditor could bring it to the light. I guess once an auditor always an auditor for me. Sounds like a very interesting project for someone like me. I am jealous of the person who will actually do this sooner than later is my guess.

Mike Pence was calm, cool, and collected. Under the circumstance he was also respectful. And even though he is a Vice – Presidential candidate; he came across as being more Presidential than any of the others. He attempted to stay on topic even when being badgered and interrupted by Tim Kaine. If this is an example of the caliber of the people that Trump would nominate for cabinet posts and other key positions we can expect to see some very responsible government for a change.
Tim Kaine on the other hand just seemed to be a smug Hillary sock puppet. He was rude and kept attempting to divert the discussion and avoid any real issues.
